Good morning everyone.

Hope everyone is ok after the wind, rain and hale yesterday, Dover port was shut for 5 hrs. Wouldn't have fancied doing a boat trip yesterday affraid

Glad to hear your pleased with your windows Jacky, its very hard these days to find good workmen Smile That reminds me anyone know if Juli's kitchen is all done now?

Not much planned for today, popping down to see Mum and Dad later and need to make a few cards.

Have a lovely day.

Good Morning peeps,

As it was one of those rare days where I had a little time before needing to go to Tescos, I thought I would pop by
and say hello.
I have the lovely cough that so many of you are also suffering, hubby just sits and gives me the look when I disturb
his programme. So I remind him how many of mine he disturbed when I was running after him recently!!

Been painting the conservatory as we had the doors and roof replaced recently so thought the job should be done
completely with paint and new lino, trouble is Andy cannot stay in the positions needed to paint as he still gets some
discomfort and pain so it has been down to me and due to the light that means weekends only. Finally finished yesterday so now the lino needs to go down and the washing machine can be re-installed, my mother will be pleased as she has
been doing my washing for about 3 weeks now.

Seriously must get down to doing some christmas cards now, have only done the ones achieved in classes!
Must buy some pressies too as the time is just shooting by and I am not organised at all at the moment

Top washing line came down yesterday with the bird feeder, so the birds are popping over looking a little confused today. the cover to my garden bench has also popped next door for a visit so will have to get that back later.
Todays weather is a little strange, bright sunshine one minute, then it goes black throws it down for five and returns to the sun again. At least the wind has died off though.

Hope all the poorlies and their partners feel better soon.

Have a good day everyone, sorry I don't get to chat with you more, but I try to keep up with things that are
happening by popping on in my lunch breaks at work.

Pat x

Good morning Di, Pat and all who follow. Lovely morning here this morning so far, I think rain is due about lunchtime. Martin has gone off to get some fence panels with Ian and the window man is here just finishing off the outside of the windows and doing some pointing. He has been on time every time he has come and really tidies up after him before he leaves, I couldn't recommend him enough to anyone wanting windows done, he takes a pride in his work and cleans all the windows too Laughing Just want him to clean all the inside doors with glass in them now - and maybe a bit of dusting and hoovering Laughing Laughing Laughing Painting a conservatory must be a hard job, I hate painting window frames, I always get the paint on the glass. I have lots to paint on the dolls house and I think that's what is stopping me Laughing Laughing . Dinner is on so just had a little time to come onto the computer. Enjoy your time at your Mum and Dads Di Very Happy

Just got back from London - We went to the Masterchef Live show at Olympia (won a pair of tickets and saved ourselves £40) Had a great time watching cookery demos and doing lots of tasting - food and wine. Have pigged out on wine, olives, cheeses and all sorts of naughty nibbles. Brought back a few goodies and loads of recipes and ideas.

Blue sky here now but there are floods in the surrounding roads and our swing seat (which weighs a ton) blew over last night. Lots of tree branches down but no serious damage. Even the downstairs cloakroom seems to be dry after months of drips after heavy rain. Clive obviously did a great job fixing the roof. No class again tomorrow so I'll have to get back into the craft room and try to find my mojo again. I finally worked out how to do the never-ending card yesterday (having missed the Moovision version)

Here are some pictures of the exhibition.

I'm feeling like some of those olives I munched - stuffed!
I have, however, managed to lose another stone in the last 2 months!
