Good morning Janet and all who follow Smile As Janet said it was a gorgeous day here yesterday and we started it off at St Margaret's beach with a Mackie D brekkie, was a little overcast when we first got there but after about 10 minutes the sun started to shine and it got really warm and was gorgeous, luckily I have put my sunnies in my handbag or would have been nursing a lousy headache for the rest of the day, have become quite sun sensitive with my eyes over the past few years, probably the diabetes, I did tell the Dr but after having all the necessary checks she is happy it isn't anything serious Smile
Oh and Janet forgot to say the bluebell woods we found are near Mersham, the way we go is past Port Lympne going under the bridge over the road that the park have and then stay on that road (B2067) and then turn right at the very end of it on to Giggers Green Road and then it is next left and keep on that road until just before Bilsington and you do a right turn onto Priory Road and it's the 1st wooded area you come to on the left hand side of the road, there are a couple of parking spaces there not proper spaces but enough for 2 or 3 cars just at the entrance to the woods Smile If you get to the Priory you have gone to far it isn't far along the road once you have turned on it Very Happy
Hope that's clear lol!
Hope everyone is feeling better or well today and are having a great weekend Smile
Take care all and be good Wink

Morning all,

I am gonna be noticeably absent today..... gotta make the sponges for my mums birfday cake.... gonna do the two big ones today and freeze em so I aint rushed at the end of the week! Also if I muck one up I will have time to redo it!

EMILY...... still wont put any weight on her foot Sad So I can tell she aint gonna be going in to school tomorrow Maybe I am trying to push her too hard.... have never sprained anything so I don't know how much to push her. Question

Hope Kayleigh slept a bit better last night Frances, hugs for her xx

Jan... I think it is the diabetes hun that causes you to be sun sensitive as I noticed it too after I was diagnosed!

Beautiful sunny day here today and I am stuck in with a wingy kid, doing washing and baking!! Rolling Eyes

Morning ladies Smile hope Emily and Kayleigh are feeling a little better today:) A sprain is painful Lou almost like our pain, but thankfully with an end to it he he. I thought it was a week before you could expect her to put some real weight on it to allow the injuries to heal. I always used to try and get them to elevate their foot slightly as, don't ask me why, I believe the injuries to feet and legs heal quicker that way. It most probably is completely irrelevant but know that in the past and now that the pain eases for me when I elevate my leg/legs he he.

Hope you are all continuing with your leg exercise that I set you he he. I feel its starting to get easier to do now, but know that in 2 weeks time the physio will up the anti he he. Just think walking in high heels girl, high stiletto heels ....... oh I remember the days well he he.

Hope you guys have time to relax and watch some craft today - C& C craft day today and next weekend its QVC he he.

Did I mention the new Trimcraft range coming out on May 4th? Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen has a range - love it, love it, love it he he Smile

Hugs for all and hope you enjoy your weekend Smile

PS don't tell Tash about the avatar he he Smile

Also, just re-read the bit in youyr post about high heels... I can still wear them, in fact I find a high wedge heel helps when my back calf muscles are bad! It has to be a wedge though.... too unstable in spiky ones!!!

I noticed the light/sun sensitivity in my eyes way before I was diagnosed Lou, just once I was asked the quack and she said it was probably to do with it and after having my Paula Carr eye test everything is fine Smile
Good luck with the cakes Lou Smile
Have kind of given up with C&C and QVC for shopping Jen, the demos are usually over so fast now that they arent worth watching and the stuff that C&C have been selling recently has not been my sort of thing at all, the Daily specials have been quite disappointing unless you like to use cds a lot which although I have quite a few now dont hardly use them Rolling Eyes

Hello again!

Forgot to show you a piccy of the cake topper a very kind lady off Ebay did for me! For only £6.50 which I thought was very reasonable especially as it was made to order and she had no pale green beads! She was quick too x I have just stood it in one of my crystal glasses but it will look brill on the cake itself!

He is a sweet pusskins even if he is an impatient one he he Smile

Oh I don't buy from C&C Jan just like to watch certain items on there like when Joanna Sheen is on. The latest CD and stamps are beautiful but far cheaper to buy from her own shop than C&C and much quicker delivery too he he.

The cakes look lush Lou, photos are definitely required when you are finished Smile It's been about 7 years, if not longer, since I have been able to wear heels as the angle it places my knee at causes huge problems with my kneecaps, doh! I really miss them as to me it symbolised being a female in a way, if you know what I mean he he.

I have a confession to make Jane, my card for you will be a little late. I went to post it on Friday and realised that I had already shown the card on the forum so had to make another and post it real quick. But, I missed the collection as the last one until Monday was at 6pm on Friday Sad It is on its way to you though and am desperately crossing everything in the hope that the proposed postal strikes do not start until your card has arrived he he.

I'm off to kill some dragons online now he he - have a great evening /night guys.
