Things are a bit weird here (after yesterdays shenanigans with bin bags etc) Have just updated my post.

Jan... all my blue bells are out and gorgeous in my back garden, alwqays get a huge crop every year! The are gorgeous and so vivid a blue x Have fun on your bluebell hunt!!

Well we have sunshine again, still got that nip in the air though - went up to school without a coat and my arms are a bit cold!!!

Amy is staying on at school this afternoon to do some Art coursework and then bringing a friend home - no doubt there will be singing and dancing... if you can call it that!!! Better get me ear plugs!!

Afternoon everyone. I've had a fun day at work this morning all the kids made flags for St Georges Day. Kayleighs foot was so swollen and red hot this morning that I kept her off again (this is the most times she's had off since she started in reception. Ususlly she only has the odd day for hospital appointments)

Afternoon everyone , beautiful day here , took the ironing outside and did it.....took me ages ,had to phone a friend and then my mum, so that was a hour gone.Don't know where bthe time goes.Got some lovely news my mum is comming over from south africa, at the end of May / June ,have'nt seen her since begining of Jan so so that will be brill, loads to catch up on.My Mum is a cfafter too, so we have loads to catch up on.I am very lucky mum and mick nget on really well, hes more her age I guess !!!!!!! Well girls I am not feeling brill had another bad night But cough much improved today the steroids do work well even though I hate taking them, so going for a lie down. Lexie

Afternoon all,

Well I went to the docs this morning for my diabetic check up and my HBA1C result was 6.0 I hope you are suitably impressed Jan! I was! Blood pressure was well within limits and I have lost 12lbs since my check up 6 months ago!

God I need some chocolate!!!

Lou... funnily enough my Mum had to go for her annual diabetic check up today. Nurse checked her over.. she had a blood test and hers was at 11, but the nurse didnt seem to bothered about it. Mum has to see the Dr on Monday, as last year she was having dizzy 'do's' Dr changed her medication and 'touch wood' she hasnt had any more. Mum mentioned it to the nurse and she has suggested taking an aspirin, but wants her to check with Dr first. There was talk of an operation... but dont want to go down that road yet.

Evening ladies well we found the bluebell wood no problem at all and it looked absolutely gorgeous Like a carpet of bluey/purple flowers as far as your eye could see

Just had a customer ring me and say how beautiful her cards were but that did I want to start a riot, I only made a Manchester United card instead of a Liverpool one, don't know what was going round in my head at the time but obviosuly wasn't concentrating oops

She feels hopeful that she can help me to strengthen my muscles to the degree when I will be able to walk like normal people do and go up steps by the end of the year - whoooppeee might even be able to wear heeled shoes for Christmas he he

OOOPPS!!! Made me laugh! Reminds me of the secret santa at Dulcies school the parents donate items suitable for gifts that the kids can buy for there family , we have had some weird and wonderful gifts.The best was when she got her dad a Spurs clock AND arsanal mug....hesupports Chelsea.I was received a beautiful hand cream and nail varnish , that I 'd donated !!! and one year got the longest horrendous mustard yucky colored scalf you have ever seen...I managed to dye it and shrink it then 'lost ' it sometime later I know its the thought that counts.....
