Not had a very good night. Amy hasnt been well, she has a sore throat and feeling sick. Got the children to take to school but will nip in the Drs. to see if Amy can get an emergency appointment.
Keith got back from Physio yesterday and has to go back next week. They are not happy with his arm and hip. They need further information regarding his ribs - nothing in his notes to say which ribs have been repaired.
So apart from playing Nurse today, no plans for me!!
It looks as if its going to be a decent day - so will get some more washing done.

Just back from getting Amy's tablets. Managed to get an emergency appointment. Amy has got some nasty abcesses on her tonsils - looks very yukky!
Right.. off now to my no plans for today, think it could involve some ironing though.

I hate the thought of putting them up now the children have grown up but we do it eventually. Martin loves it all and Sally usually comes round and encourages him

It is lovely to be back Jacky, thank you, the weather was good to us when we were away we were just on the edge of the awful weather, it was a nice relaxing time, warm and cosy, and I stayed awake till gone 11 every night and for me thats really good, no hover or duster in site all week , Sonny wasnt well, so had to come home a little early sad to say but he is ok now
I did find a few craft shops on our journeys and made a visit to PDA factory for my card stock

Rain? It's been sunny here all day until about half an hour ago when the rain came and went. Helped out at the nursery school this morning and had one little horror who drove me completely mad. Thank heavens my grand children are beyond that stage.

Got rid of my frustrations at aqua followed by a half mile swim and a long relax in the steam room and sauna = lost 4lbs - shame it will all come back once I have a few drinks - I'm dehydrated now!

Off to catch with some Iplayer programmes before packing for or trip to Winchester tomorrow.

I didnt manage to get the card done but have done some bricking and cleaned the internal door glass as it looked really bad with the sun coming through then cleaned the mirror doors on the wardrobes. Had to stop for a cuppa then as I was dehydrated too. I have stamped an image of a postbox so have to colour that in now as my neighbour is a postman - or was as he is retiring Friday but has had this week off

Well done on the weight loss Jane Really need to get back on track completely gone out the window lately.

Hospital wasn't too good. Mum has a blockage in her bowel, consultant said due to her age it's likely to be cancer but they will fast track her to put a camera in and take a sample which with confirm what it is. Either way they will then have to operate to take a chunk of the bowel away. Just a waiting game now waiting for an appointment, but in the meantime she has her MRI scan tomorrow afternoon which may show up more.

The waiting room was like a library and you found yourself whispering everything. An old man came in and shouted which startled us all that he had an appointment. The receptionist asked was it for the hearing clinic? The man shouted back, sorry lovely you need to shout as I can't hear very well
I looked at my mum and we started to laugh but did it discreetly as not to offend, but in the end I had tears rolling down my face and couldn't stop chuckling. I composed myself after a couple of minutes and got a tissue out to wipe my eyes, whilst doing that a man sat down next to me and asked if I was ok and if I'd received bad news. My mum started laughing again so I hastily escaped to the toilet to try to compose myself again.
I think they thought we was a bunch of nutters but at least it took my mum's mind of things

Hugs to you Di, hope it's something they can put right quickly for your mum. The MRI scan should show something so good luck with that. Glad you had a bit of humour in the waiting room
