Re: Tuesday morning
another update!
The hospital are keeping Keith in overnight. Apparently he has 3 ribs that are knitting together the other 5 are crossing over which is giving him the pain. They are now looking at fusing or gluing the ribs to hold them in place, dont know when this will be - will hopefully know more tonight when we visit.

Oooooowww poor Keith, I do hope they sort him out pretty quickly Karen, he must be in agony and it can't be good to keep him on strong painkillers Hugs to you and Amy, and gentle one for Keith

Re: Tuesday morning
Afternoon ladies. Went to pilates this morning and then hairdressers - then got soaked just getting from car to front door!! Never mind - I never like the way they blow dry it anyway don't know why I bother paying to have it done except I don't like coming out with wet hair! Wouldn't have mattered today. Sorry to hear Keith's back in hospital Karen - hope he's home again soon and in less pain.
Glad you're on the mend Jen. Watched a bit of C&C while I had my coffee this morning. At least the shows are live instead of all those interminable repeats.

Lexie... he was involved in a car crash 4 weeks ago and broke 8 ribs... obviously some are mending quicker than others. But when he came out of hospital he told them about the pain in his chest, but they didnt make anything of it.
The Paramedic who came this morning was looking at Keiths chest... he has a scar from an accident when he was in the Army years ago... the Paramedic asked what he had done, Keith told him... then went on to tell him about the time he fell off a ladder and completely shattered his heel, another time he broke 2 ribs at the front... the Paramedic asked if his surname was Unlucky!!! Keith didnt appreciate the joke He is so accident prone!!

Evening everyone.
Hope Keith is sorted out so that he can come home soon
It's been throwing it down today and we've had some really good flashes of lightening too
Have a good evening whatever you are doing

Re: Tuesday morning
Just got back from visiting Keith. Looks better in colour, but these waves of pain keep coming over him. He has had a blood test whereby they can tell if he has ever had a heart attack, Drs. say its better than the ECG
Also had 2 xrays one of the back and one sideways on - the 5 ribs have completely moved and crossing over each other. I cannot understand why the hospital didnt want a follow up appointment after he left the last time. Just to see how things were progressing.
Anyway... will see what tomorrow brings. Going for a soak and an early night.
