Got to pick up a parcel before work today so hopefully that's the goodies from Amazon I ordered Did alot of Christmas shopping online it was just so much easier.

Well hectic weekend.... blimey I am shattered..... Emily has come down with another monster snotty nose and hacking cough... when will it ever end? LOL She is OK in herslef though bless her, she doesn't let it get her down! Still eating like a horse so she can't feel that bad! You always know when she is really ill as her appetite goes!

Computer seems better.... touch wood..... not going to say any more on that just in case LOL But if it goes quiet again you know why!

Had a bit of a mare of a morning tho, this'll make ya giggle girls....

Really organised this morning.. as from 8pm last night I wasn't allowed to have anything to eat or drink bar water as I had a fasting blood test this morning, so being organised I thought I would take the mobility scooter round to the front of the house so it was ready to just jump on when I took the girls to school..... had everything all organised and was feeling good, although gagging for a coffee..... shuts the front door then realises my blooming keys were inside the house!!! It also had the key for the mobility scooter on too so I couldn't use that, had no way of getting to the hossy as I can't walk that far.... so I then had to phone Ady and get hime to pop back! Nightmare, just as well he works fairly close and his boss let him borrow the truck!

Oh Lou, sounds like you were having fun! How do you stay so cheerful? You put me to shame.

I'm having a really sh**ty day. After a week being cooped up (apart from my trips to the osteopath) Clive drove me up to meet my friends from aerobics for a glass of wine and mince pie. Only there for 20 minutes but waited in the cold for 10 more expecting him to pick me up (balanced on my good leg) only to find the reason he was late was because a friend called round with flowers so I missed her too!

I burst into tears after that and hopped up to my bedroom to sulk in the dark. Still feeling tearful and very sorry for myself as I've been told I won't be driving for a while and it could take a couple of months to heal.

Clive is very sweet but pretty hopeless when it comes to cooking and shopping and I don't feel like doing it either.

I've almost made all my cards but haven't started writing them and certainly not in the mood. Somehow I'll have to hobble round ASDA later so off to make a list while I do the next round of icepacks.

Hi there ladies, sorry have not been on things are a little manic what with xmas and changing rooms, and dont know if you all remember my ranting about my kitchen well things still not all done in there and still have fridge frezzer in dining room. Had a long talk with a very nice lady whl is now helping us with all the things that need to be sorted out that have been done badlt or just not done, and then went into Latisha's room to see if we could organize it any better!!!!!!!! God only knows how she got all the stuff in her other room, wanted to sort out in there as a friend phoned and the lady she works for were selling there cot they use for tyhe grand children. Wow went and had a look and its fab, just like brand new and the mattress is brand new as they just bought it for the new little one, but they wont sleep in it lol. They also said we could buy the bouncy chair as they had a new one!!! this is like brand new!!. Got the lot for the bargain price of (drum roll please ) £20 so pleased they only wanted £10 but had to offer more, so very thankful to them.

Wow what a bargain Juli you have been very lucky there, you needed some luck after what you have been through lately Hopefully things are going to be better for you now. All we need now is some good luck shooting its way to Jane I know how it feels to be cooped up in the house and after I was able to drive I never really got going again I spend a lot of time in the house now. Lou, I am sorry but I did laugh. Glad Ady had the truck to come home in, I imagined him on his bike tearing up the road to your rescue, you have got a lovely husband

Evening everyone. Yet another couple of hectic days have passed. I still need to get a few more Christmas presents then i have to do all the wrapping.
I hope all the poorlie people are feeling a bit better today

Went to badminton tonight and Sally phoned as I was picking Ian up, to say that she might not get there as a load of tiles had just fallen off her roof It's not even windy so think they must have been loosened by the wind previously. She had one side sorted out but he didnt check the rest as it looked as though this one had been leaking for a while. She managed to get through to her landlady to find out what she wanted her to do and she said it should be under guarantee. Unfortunately when Sally checked it for her it is only the materials guaranteed not the shoddy workmanship of putting them on the roof. It was a new roof in 2006 and she thinks he has gone out of business now. Luckily Sally's friends husband is a roofer who sorted the other problem out so at least she has someone to talk to but couldnt get hold of him tonight and, of course, it is raining here Just hope no more fall off in the night - she said it made a tremendous noise, she thought an airplane had hit the roof

Juli its really exciting about he baby hey !!Your mate really helped out ah ! When is the baby due ???? I love babies oh well .... Don't ware your self out all this swapping rooms or your be no fit state as a Granny orare you a nan or what ? xx
