Thursday already
Thought the good times wouldn't last long! After a good week its gone downhill again. Put on 1 1/2 and no idea why.
Clive knocked over a glass of red wine last night and I knelt down to mop it off the light brown carpet then couldn't get up again. Knee gave me gyp all night and slept badly but the pain is easing a bit this morning. A firiend of mine's husband died suddenly (on my birthday) so another funeral for me too!
Due to see the ortho surgeon at 9.45! cool and cloudy start here but hopefully I'll get some crafting done later.
Have a good day whatever you are up to

Re: Thursday already
Good morning Jane and all who follow Got to get my swap card in the post today, almost finished it last night.
Sorry to hear about your friend's husband Jane, you have had a bad time - hope something good happens to balance it all up for you. There just seems to be so many deaths around I am sure your weight gain is just a little blip - extra fluid maybe. Cheer up, I am sure it will disappear as quickly as it came

Oh dear Jane, not a great day yesterday then sending you a big hug from me x
Thanks for sorting out the May swap, will get started on Kayleigh's card soon x
Morning Jacky.... what do you have planned today then?
I have to go to a memorial this afternoon, my daughters old headmistress died a few years back and although my kids don't go to that school anymore Georgia loved Jan Myers and the school are dedicating their wildlife garden this afternoon in Jan's memory....so we are off to take part in that. What a lovely idea.... Jan inspired me to become a Parent Governor at the school, she was a wonderful woman, one of a kind.

Crafting, got to make a birthday card for my next door neighbour for tomorrow and finish my swap card for Jen and get that in the post too. I just can't seem to keep up with all these birthdays - I am sure they are coming around quicker this year. Got another 4 to make before I go to Amsterdam at the beginning of next month, besides the ATCs and swap card I wish I worked quicker What a lovely idea to have a memorial for a good teacher
Re: Thursday already
I have got an asda delivery coming this morning, it's threatening to rain here but is still quite warm

Re: Thursday already
Morning ladies - just a quick visit as I'm supposed to be shopping! Hugs to you Jane - definitely not a good day for you yesterday! Being nosy at the moment - the house opposite had been sold and the guy moved out last week but no-one moved in yet, sold sign has gone and what definitely looks like an estate agent or letting agent just arrived and taken two blokes in so I think sale must have fallen through.
Lou - think a memorial garden is a lovely idea.
Andrea - hope your crafty stuff doesn't take too long. I'm waiting for an order from them too which I placed last week. Spect it'll turn up while I'm out!
Jacky are you going for the tulips? We were thinking about it but as usual left it a bit late!
Should have gone to card club last night but cried off at the last minute- they were making a mountain card and I had absolutely no inspiration for what to put on it and would have had to rush to get things ready by the time I got back from showing Roy how to use his new door!
Right really must go and get on now!

Going to visit Martin's sister and her husband who has lived there for about 6 years and we have only just got around to going Her husband is a Jack Dee lookalike and has always been a miserable devil but the last time we saw him we thought old age had mellowed him. He phoned a couple of weeks ago to check we had booked as it will be our last chance of going - he hasn't had his contract renewed so they are coming home at the end of May - got in just in time They said they would check the flowers were still good and hopefully go to see them
Just had what could have been a potentially embarrassing moment!!
Before I went down to mum's... I had to answer a call of nature. Did what I had to do, went through to wash my hands... as Keith was on the phone I just waved .. went out the door, turned around to close the door - when I noticed Andrex toilet roll hanging on the handle.. noticed it was running through the kitchen - when I realised the end was tucked in my undergarments!!!! I could have gone down to mums with the toilet roll unravelling behind me... How embarrassing
Anyone else had any embarrassing moments... that you dare admit to!!!

Re: Thursday already
Afternoon ladies
Has been lovely all morning and still quite warm but has started to cloud over a bit here Summer was great while it lasted
Sorry to hear about your friend Jane...hugs
OMG Karen my mates husband did that years ago and he walked into the living room with yards of toilet paper hanging behind him was so funny Was a good thing you noticed and being coy and saying undergarments too cute
I did a similar cheer up yesterday Andrea and ordered some more Promarkers from JS site, went to Hobbycraft a few weeks ago and they were selling them for a few pence off £10 for a pack of 5 and JS they are under £7, how can she do it and a big store charge so much and I dont have to travel 20 odd miles to get them either they are delivered free to my door
Could be Sue that the estate agent is acting as a letting agency and they are prospective tenants !!!!
I love Jack Dee's humour, Mike cant stand him but I have always liked him
Lou thats a lovely idea for the old headmistress
Went up to my cousins last night, we have seen quite a bit of each other over the past few weeks, used to be very close and sort of drifted apart, well she has got this big ole fluffy cat and wasnt in the door 5 minutes and was sneezing, eyes running and wheezing, have been there before recently and have seen him but must be because the weather has warmed up that his fur is upsetting me, he is a lovely cat (from someone who isnt the greatest cat lover in the world) just wish he was bald
Well I am going to do some more stamping and colouring in havent felt like crafting for what seems like ages and now I am getting the hang of my Promarkers am loving it
Have a good rest of the day ladies and take care xXx

Re: Thursday already
Karen!
Glad to see you're back on form crafting Jan. Sometimes wish my cat was bald too when she leaves fur everywhere - never known a cat to lose so much all the time!
Raining here now - so summers over then!

I know I was early but it's still APRIL................ you can put a second class stamp on it.
Karen your Andrex tale cheered me up no end.
Its raining here now and very grey. Enjoyed a gentle work out in the pool and a long relax in the sauna. Feel much better now.
Looks like I'll need keyhole surgery to remove a lump of bone or 'gristle' that has broken off (some time in the next 18 weeks) hoping to avoid a knee replacement/restructure! Due to see the Urologist when we come back from our cruise in June. So more surgery before the year is over!
