Flippin Freezing Friday

Good morning all very hard frost here this morning but the sun is shining brightly I am off out with old friends for our Christmas reunion at lunchtime for a meal at the pub. Got to quickly put the finishing touches to a card (the insert) ready to post today too.

Sending hugs to all the poorlies today (I woke up with a hacking dry cough but seems to have gone now ) Lou, hope you have recovered from your fall and not too stiff, sore and bruised this morning. Lexie, have you had any news about Dulcie. Be back later

Brrrrr.... another chilly one today.
Still no snow, just heavy frosts.
Been to take Mum up for her B12 injection.
Must get on with the christmas cake today, so much to do and not enough hours in the day just planted some Ghost chilli, so I have 6 hours to do all what I need to get done!

I'm here now Jacky. Had to sort spare room out this morning so Eldest son could use the bed when he turns up tonight! Then I had calligraphy class. Just popped on here now with a cuppa!

Hello everyone , we've been to Crawley and yay brought 2 stocking fillers for Rupe , very exciting socks and pants , I just Can't get into the festive spirit , really not like me usually I've list 's done and started gift buying started and food shopping started.... oh well Rupes got new boxers and socks !
Heard from Trudi today , well just now actually asking us to go down but we have decided to go tommorrow early ,, leaving here at 8 am , So glad Roger is feeling better such a shock for everyone.Micky just could;nt face the M25 at 4on a friday afternoon ! So weekend away still on !

Good evening ladies very cold here again and no snow here too , had a great day at aerobics thanks ladies i was warm till id finished and had to go for the bus. Been back again today but only for final assessment and now i need to pay when i go and iv e signed up for three months and take it from there . Ive lost a few inches off my baby bump has i call it and half a stone so i am a bit happy but have a long way to go yet. Hugs to the poorlies and nice to see you Jan

Well done Andrea , I've lost a stone and a half and my clothes feel comfortable and some feel big ! and I've lost some of my boobs which now feel more managable ... you know what I mean , ALL the woman on my mum's side are big busted ladies and mine had got out of control but much happier now , got to get some smaller bras .....hoooray !

Have spent most of the afternoon ringing up the hospital to try and arrange transport for Mum for her Opthamology appointment. Went to so many departments, bar the Maternity and they all said it had nothing to do with them! Anyway, went up to the Surgery and have managed to arrange it through them - never had to do it before, can only think because its a 'new appointment' that is the reason.

lol!!! Think mine are shrinking - not lost any weight though!

Thanks ladies and well done Lexie, i thought id lost more has when i went to the nurse two months ago she said id lost a stone. But i think the scales were wrong or she was trying to cheer me up I think im going to throw mine out has they are showing a lot lower I think im going to stick to the dr ones has they were better

What a pain Karen, you would think someone at the hospital would know Well done on the weight losses Andrea and Lexie Lexie I am sure Rupert will be absolutely thrilled this Christmas with the exciting gifts you have bought for him. He will feel so grown up now - a real man - I never know what to get men. Haven't a clue what I am going to get for Ian or Ruth for that matter as she is quite particular. I know she really moans when her mum and dad buy her things and it's not quite what she wants so I don't bother.

When I was about 12 and did'nt have any boobs I went with my Nan to get my great Gran a bra , it was thebiggest thing I'd ever seen a size 44h , huge but now Iam a 40 b its not that much smaller !!! actually now Iam 38b , but I want to be a 36b !lol !

Going to go out on my own one day next week and try and do it all in one day ! Just getting a few stocking fillers and he wants money then he can either save it ( !!!!!!!! Year right ....) or buy what he wants ... un fortunetely he is sensible in many many ways except where money is concerned and then he takes after his mummy and is rubbish ! Just got to get him aftershave , and choccy bits and something I usually find hilleriously funny and the rest of them don't ! But as I tell thats my job Iam a mum so we have to embaress our kids !!!!

Only eldest son Lexie - he's single and no kids having split up fairly recently with his long term girlfriend. But he's a doting uncle!!
