Good morning girls.
Well, the sun isn't out this morning like it was yesterday, its dark and dismal looking.

Yesterday morning my neighbour come round. She said have you see your patio? she had just gone out to feed the birds and noticed it. The outside pipe was spirting water everywhere. So we "got a man" who had more strength than we had to switch the water off to the outside tap. But must get a plumber when this bad weather is over, as the inside taps under the sink are no good as they are, there is no way I could turn them off myself. Now I know why John always used to switch the water off to the outside tap in the winter.

Nothing planned for today, I wish I could hibernate in this weather.

Good morning Marion, Janet and all who follow Very dismal this morning, it was actually raining slightly when we got up not enough to connect the spots up on the patio, but I was amazed as it was still -3. Still below freezing now and I hope it doesn't rain on this cold surface as we are going to Sally's for dinner and she is in the middle of nowhere. Must phone her and check her roads are ok.

Marion, Martin forgot to turn our outside water off this year too hope it doesn't burst when it thaws - he has now turned the main one off in the garage so if it does it will only be a short section which it could burst at. Hope you can get a plumber quickly Marion. Have a good day whatever you are doing today Janet

Afternoon...

Just finished lunch and settling down to watch tv.
Keith is still in bed, yesterday he stayed in bed until 3.00, looks like its going to be the same again today. He doesnt sleep at night, so he makes up for it during the day - just a vicious circle for him.
Its dismal here today, but at least the snow is starting to thaw and we have bits of green grass!
