I'm here now! been talking to son in Scotland and hearing about grandson's antics! He's 10 months, crawling just starting to stand up, refusing to eat lumpy food, throwing the fish food around etc etc. sounds just like his dad at his age!

Leuchars - he's in the RAF. Typical he was here at Odiham for 9 years and as soon as he was about to produce first grandchild (well not him - his wife- )they posted him as far away as possible! Still gives me a good excuse to visit as I have a soft spot for the country as my mother was from Selkirk and have spent lots of long holidays there. Actually if the weather was better I'd like to live there - but too cold.

Had house the I had to give up work and had to sell family home

That brings back memories - some of my family come from St Andrews and I still have cousins up the road overlooking the Air Base (Strathkinness)

Went to St Andrews when I visited briefly last November when declan was born. I really liked it but son and his wife prefer Dundee. These kids have no taste!

Had all my holidays in St Andrews when I was growing up and just love the West Sands, Castle Rock pools and the harbour area.

Planned to go up there this year but haven't been able to fit it in. Must go back one day

Planned to tour Scotland this year but it didn't happen With the weather as it was maybe it was just as well

Not been on holiday for 3 years but went to Cyprus where my sister has her own villa, with private pool!!!

So enjoyed that holiday.
