Sunny Saturday!

Morning all,

Well I had a bit of a shock yesterday late afternoon......

Had a knock at the door and guess who it was....... Shell and her family. My hubby and Shell had secretly arranged for them to come down for the weekend to see me, keep my mind off the hossy and to come to my mum's party! Cheeky moo told me her internet was broken so that she would have less opportunities to mess up and give the game up!!

It was a lovely surprise and my hubby is just fab, I was a bit gutted that he couldn't get our wedding anniversary off on Sunday and has to work but at least now I have my buddy here!!!

Also my mum does not know so it will be a surprise when they come to the party with us!!! She really wanted them to come, but I said they were coming down at the end of the month and she was disappointed! She gonna be so happy!!!

Well it's D-Day for the cake, knowing me, as it all went so well, I will probably drop it carrying it from the car

Hope everybody has a fab Saturday and any poorlies are feeling a bit better xx

Kayleigh is so bored at the moment (I'm not surprised really as she is usually outside with her friends or in the garden on the trampoline). She's been hogging the computer all morning and is now on the Wii with Josh

Jacky enjoy the demos at the Crafty Cow. I've just said to Kayleigh if we were down there we could have gone too

Had a lovely morning at the shop, Anne demonstrated the scrapbooking cd for me and of course, I had to have it. It is brilliant. You can definitely print out 8 x 8 and foolscap. Great for cardmaking too Bought the Pink Cat Sweet Pea stamps, they are lovely - and I have several baby cards to make in the future, both my neighbours are becoming grandparents - one in August and one in November - so thought they would be nice for that Also bought some paper and a Dufex decoupage sheet. Luckily I had filled my loyalty card so had money off too Did the food shopping on the way home and saw a small chocolate fudge cake so bought that for Ian & Ruth - put it in their fridge with a Happy Anniversary card attached as they will be home tonight

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather, I'm afraid I have ended up with a headache, think it's sinus trouble due to the pollen but I'm not complaining. I love the sun

Now I'm indoors and had a couple of cuppas, I'm feeling much better Janet, thanks. Headache still there but not pounding any more

Been down to Mottisfont for the day and took a nice picnic and walked along the river bank. Stopped in Stockbridge going down and Winchester coming home but, as it was late we DROVE STRAIGHT PAST THE CRAFTY COW!!!!!!!!!

Motorway looked busy but the A30, A34 and A31 were so quiet driving was a real pleasure. Will post some photos later.
Off to see Tim Vine (not going out) in a comedy show tonight so just time for a quick tea thenoff again.

Jacky, glad you had a good time at The Crafty Cow today, you don't happen to know what time they are
opening up tomorrow do you, I am coming up from good old Portsmouth and will meet a buddy there, but
need to sort out a time.

Lou, really chuffed for you that your mate Shell has come down to boost your moral prior to your time
in hospital, please pass on my best wishes to her.

Thanks Frances, I have had a great evening too. Ian & Ruth have returned from their holiday so called in to see us before they had got home. Ian text me to say thank you for tidying the house, then he text to say I had made Ruth cry with the Anniversary card I had made for them I have been playing with my new cd, it is really good fun. When I work out how to save it in jpeg I will put the page I have done on here Have printed it out as an 8 x 8 and it's really good (apart from the actual photo I used as I was just messing around). It would be good to meet up again if you are here over the holidays, you will have to call in

Jacky - just open the page then click on File, Save as and at the bottom of the box where it says " save as type " change with the drop down box to JPEG

When I did that Sue it didn't come up with jpeg just said other files. I tried just adding jpeg to the title but that didnt work either. Martin sorted it for me by going to export to.

Mine usually stops but my husband was driving and was tired and wanted to get home! He overdid the gardening on Friday and all the driving and walking made his knee swell up. He's been taking it easy today - bless. It must be bad cos he never usually complains.
