FUNKY FRIDAY ......

Good Morning my lovelies , looks like Iam the first this morning , its just getting light , was woken by the silly cat who jumped on the bed soaking wet . the kitchen door was closed so the only way he could of go in was via the garage roof and in the batroom window , as far as Iam aware he has done that route befor..... surely the catflap into the kitchen would of been easier but then he could'nt of got on the bed with mum and dad ,pesky cat but clever ! Dulcie home this afternoon so thats our peace disturbed , actually we have both missed her and I THINK she has misssed us as she sent another text last night telling us she loved us and nodoubt she'll be shattered and have a ton of smelly wet washing .....oh ! the joys of camping .......hugs to all have a good day....whatever your doing lexie

Must be the morning for it I was awake at 4.30 and just laid in bed until now listening to the birds singing outside, it was so hot overnight but at the moment I feel ok for not having slept much
Mike has been going into work early because they are busy and with the heat he is pooped by the time he gets home, has been in bed just after 8 the last 2 nights
Not much doing for me except work today and going to attempt to get my swaps done when I get home
Hope all the poorlies are feeling a little better

Morning all from me too - definitely a bright and breezy one today he he. I've changed my curtains in the bedroom from my black ones to cream and its so bright in the morning that it wakes me up - think I may have to put the black ones back on behind the cream ones to block out the sunrise so that I can sleep for another hour or two

Have fun when Dulcie gets home Lexi hearing all the camping stories, oh and sorting out all the washing too he he It looks like its trying to be a lovely day outside, hope it stays like this for the weekend as we are hoping to head out for a picnic on Sunday. Though if we can picnic in a cave in the snow I don't see why we can't do it in a bit of rain in the summer time he he - must stop being such a wuss this summer he he.

Good morning ladies wet and and dismol here again, nothing planned for us today except going to friends for a cuppa later has its her grandson's first birthday .We have bought him a little something. We did the food shop yesterday has we are planning to go off to flamongoland tomorrow if the weather is fine Hugs to the poorlies and hope the medications are kicking in and enjoy your day out if you are going anywhere nice.

Dreadful night again last night - another 2" of rain. Popped to the downstairs loo about 9.00ish and found I was paddling!

The tiny leak we sometimes get after heavy rain became 4 different dripping patches by midnight and I used 4 bath towels to mop up. Naturally, it took me ages to get off to sleep after that and I ended up making the challenge card at 2.00am.

All dry again this morning and hopefully we'll get next door's builder to have a look sometime.
Its grey at the moment but some sun promised so I have the washing line full.

Well - sorry to be different - I woke up at 8.50 this morning after a bad night the night before, and I went to bed early for me at 11.00. I don't think I have slept that long, without waking up in the middle, for a very long time Martin got up at 7 for golf and I vaguely remember hearing him but must have gone straight back to sleep as he had put his clothes ready in the spare room so he didn't disturb me

Havent any plans today, think I will start to sort out what I am taking on holiday with me. Really looking forward to it Might have a go at doing some cards for next month as I have 8 to do for September - without the ones that crop up unexpectedly We had heavy rain from about 5.00 yesterday afternoon until 11.00 in the evening. It stopped as we were going to bed so I didnt have it battering against the window. Don't know if we had any more in the night though

And hopefully if the weather cools down and less muggy better nights sleep for us all.Rained none stop yesterday really was a terrible stom at lunch time to and one early afternoon, poor Diesel (my staffy was was so scared bless him, as for Hareley-tinkerbell our yorky didnt have a care in the world, they are so funny) Hugs to those with poorlies or if you would like one, Lexie feeling for you with the washing you will have not very often do i ever get to the bottum of the wash basket with 6 of us it seems never ending. My daughter gets back from blackpool today (first holiday on her own her boyfriend treated her bless him) and i know how much she took with her and they had a BIG shoping spree too , so loads of washing.Take care all.xxx

I don't know how one girl can make soooo much washing , a top on for half anhour rather than put it back in draw goes straight in the wash ....I am getting wise now ...but Mick washes everything and on the hottest longest wash then complains that his clothes are fading , still he means well....an excuse for me to part take in my other addiction of shopping!!! She gets back about 5 ish so the washing machine will be on , on and on!!!! lexie

It was down along the South West coast in Wales last winter Lexie - might have been Tenby can't remember the exact place he he. I love doing things like that as I love being by the sea, its the best way for me to completely chill out regardless of the weather he he.

Afternoon ladies. Lovely here now but was very damp and drizzly when I went out this morning. had to wear a coat and was roasting in it! came up here yesterday to make some cards but never even started one and today got no idea what I want to do. Mojo gone on holiday I think! Talking of holidays are you going somewhere nice Jacky?
Don't envy you the washing Lexie. Now there's only two of us to wash for the machine only goes on once a week.

Don't talk to me about washing. Hubby has been gardening all morning and came home soaked to the skin. Took the cash out of his pockets thankfully and swore he'd checked the rest. Put the washing on then he couldn't find his car keys.

Not sure if the remote key will work having just fished it out of the half finished load! Restarted the machine again. All this morning's stuff had to be brought in off the line as its been fine drizzle all day - not the expected sun this afternoon. Dryer working over time and airers full!

Might have to wait and put it all out again tomorrow. It is supposed to by sunny here but knowing my luck .............................!

That's 2 incidents involving water in the last 24 hours - wonder what the third thing will be

Pretty sure it will be on more than once after a week camping.... due back at 5ish ... lexie

I have bought Holly a cuttlekid die cutter, but looking at the dies dont know if she will get enough use out of it, and the dies are so dear, does anyone know about them and do you think they are worth it.

Continuing on a jovial manner - I have some good news ......... wait for it ......... my test results come back and ......... the past 6 weeks were due to my thyroid playing silly beggars big time, phew nothing I haven't got already and something that can be controlled I'm one happy bunny and going to pump loads of Thyroxine into my little bod to sort it out again he he

Epidural still not making much of a difference but I am certainly in better spirits than I have been in days so thats a great help.

Received a lovely card froim Frances this afternoon and it was such a lovely surprise, so thank you sweetheart.

I must admit Jane, I do try and not let things get to me.... sometimes I manage it better than others... but then occasionally I slip a little and allow a little stupid self pity to seep in.....
