Thursday ....

Hi everyone ,
Had a problem yesturday , 'puter would'nt let me log on and when it did would only let me do one thread then logged offagain , so fingers crossed ! Its middle of night but Iam sooo hot and mum's cat has pushed me out of bed and Micky is snoring his head off ! .... usually me snoring so can;t complain too much .Anyway we have to be up in a a couple of hours as we arw away for a few days .... going to Kruger Park , Iam realy looking forward to it , as my fav place in the whole wide world !
Its been really hot here last couple days , so have spent alot of time either on the beach or in the spa on mum/s balcony ... I managed to burn my nose yesturday something I have'nt done in a long while !
Mum brill just lends us her car and off we go , tuesday we went into Durban and to Wilsons Warf and had lunch then later we went to the Marine centre , and basically spent the afternoon people watching !and got burnt while doing it ...a cool breeze made us a bit careless , I'd better not peel or I'll be cross !!!
REALLY looking forward to going into the Park , hope we see loads of animals I'd really like to see a leopard as Micky has'nt never seen one up close..... did I tell you we went walking with elephants which was great love it ! love ellies .
I can't believe its been 9 months since Keiths accident where has the time gone ...scary ah !
Lou sounds like you gave OT something to chew on...good for you girl , lets hope they get you sorted girl !Hope all the poorlies are ok and am sending you ALL big hugs, another 2half weeks till we come home ,boo don't want to having such a great time , catching up with my mum and friends etc . speak soon , love to all xxx

Forgot to tell you we have a 9 hour journey today ! staying overnight outside the park and then in on friday..... still I can sleep in the car most of the time !x

Did a bit more to the garden yesterday, but its very cold and overcast here this morning so glad I made use of the good weather. Finished my BIL card yesterday and got it in the post but while I was writing it out realised I had stuck the insert in upside down I just put a note in it to have a laugh courtesy of me

Started off with lovely sunshine, but now I have done some washing the sun has gone in!!
I had a similar mistake with a card I made yesterday Jacky. Made a Birthday card for Keith's sister and on this occasion I didnt put an insert in .. what does Keith do... put Happy Anniversary in it I have managed to rescue the topper and started again. MEN!!!! The best of it is, it was their anniversary last month!!!
Just waiting for the hairdresser to come... time for a trim!! Then visiting mum this afternoon, followed by a bit of cleaning up at mum's.

My desktop has started crashing on me again, and I have had enough! Trubble is I can't do any crafting as thats the one my cardmaking stuff is on and my vista lappy wont run my printer SULK SULK!

Sunny start but now clouding over and very cold.

Day started badly. Put on a pound at weigh-in last night (only the 2nd gain since last September and the other time was Christmas) I thought I'd been good too. As well as my PDA diary for IPSOS, which needs updating every hour, I've now got to do a food diary and SAS log to see where I'm going wrong

Clive woke up with knee trouble this morning and couldn't stand but did manage to drive his bus OK. It seems almost the same as my injury so I've just driven him to the Osteopath for emergency treatment.

Was hoping to pop into Epsom for a change of scenery but have to wait and pick him up so I'll go later. The shop where I work was supposed to save my magazine but they forgot, sold out and won't be ordering any more. Hopefully Smiths in Epsom may still have a copy.

Karen and Paul and the girls are back from their holiday in Queensland and will hopefully start filling out the forms they need to sponsor us and guarantee support. Post takes at least a week and they need some certified documents so that will be another 2 weeks before we can do anything more. No wonder emigrating to Australia takes so long!

Thanks Janet - I'll get over it soon - just started badly. I'll find out what's happened to him in the next quarter of an hour and pray that he won't have as much trouble as I did/am having. I've had to pull out of the show at the Albert Hall next month as i can't guarantee I'll be able to manage it. Extra practice required is putting too much strain on the joint and causing more pain.

I've got an appointment to see my doc next week, which I'm dreading, about another more serious problem to arrange for a referal and possible surgery (like Lexie had but more extensive)

Anyway - I'm thinking positive thoughts now and will stop whinging!

Sending you some warm hugs Jane and keeping everything crossed for you both

Not diddling too badly today thanks...... was gonna go up tesco on the scooter, but after 10 mins in the playground freezing my giblets off I decided against it LOL

Nope..... coz POS PC (guess what POS means ) is still knackered!!!!

My oh my what is happening this morning I feel surprisingly chilled out - went round Tescos in a dream and spent loads of money Just seemed to keep picking up things I hadnt gone for but really needed. 2 jumpers, a cd and a couple of books did get a bit of food too. The jumpers were thin polo necked ones that I have been looking for everywhere, they had been reduced to £5 each and I have never seen them in there before

Hope Clives knee is soon on the mend Jane and nothing more serious. Lou, hope you get your computer sorted out pretty quick before you blow that fuse Karen hope things are well for your Mum and they are getting on with her wet room Janet, hope you have a lovely dinner with your friend

Just a quick hi ladies. Sorry I've been AWOL I've had another attack of the grey weather blues. I really can't be doing with it any more as I have loads to do between my volunteer work with the Police and a few card requests. I'm going away for a few days at the end of the month and hope that will blow it all away until October

Hugs for all, not so sure about Lexie though as she is having too good a time to have more hugs ..... he he just kidding hun, excuse the little green monster in me

Sorry you've been a bit' blue' Jen. These grey days are so depressing. I managed to keep the SADs at bay while we were away and trying really hard not to succumb now we're back. Thankfully there have been a few sunny days and I try to get outside even just for 20 minutes if I can. Roll on Spring. Are you going somewhere exotic?

Brixham in Devon for 4 days on one of the Sun £38 holidays. They are brilliant as a base to visit different areas. We are hoping to go to sunnier climes in October
