Morning....

lovely and sunny again this morning. Had a good nights sleep... didnt think I was going to either.
Keith, myself and Mum are off to the Drs. this morning - we have a 40 minute appointment, which will give us time to have a good chat to the Dr Mum tends to say when I go with her to the Dr.. that I know how she feels. I do to an extent, but I dont know how she feels inside. The other day she told me she was dying... I know its all to do with her memory - but she just wont talk. Its a case of if I do go in with her, I end up doing the talking, if I dont... she wont remember what he says. However, we all need tablets, and results of my thyroid test - so hopefully mum will feel ok to talk .
We are still waiting to hear if Mum can go in the Home ... we know a room is available... but it all comes down to funding!

I am off to see the Vampire again (my thyroid test!!) this morning and then meeting a mate for coffee at 11am at the hossy canteen.

Georgia has a 'Greek day' at school today so has gone off armed with a bag of my old net curtains, plaited belts and braided hair!! Bangles galore too!!!

My Emily has started to go nuts on this Football Trading card game, so if any of ya get any free packets in Tesco and don't want em...send em to me and I will return ya a stamp!!!

Morning all , just a quickie as I've got my busy head on , already done the planting of sme sets which are begining to look really nice , sheile gave me some cutting which appear to have taken and needed re potting and genrally had a good old ime wih me bag of compost and flower pots ! Done he ironing and just popping to he supermarket as Shiela comming for tea and thought better do more than chase me round the kitchen !
Dulcies dad playing up about me going away this weekend , why when I say NO do that lo hink i means Yes ???? I told them Iam being tough but they think Iam only joking , i need this weekend away and so does Mick .

Morning ladies - glad your tummy has settled Lou - mine hasn't - still a bit dodgy! Did manage to go out yesterday afternoon and ordered some GLASSES!!!! Went to Boots who are still giving 30% discount of lenses if you have an Advantage card and belong to their health club (Over 60s I think) and 25% off frames. The lenses were over a £100 cheaper without the discount so they have cost about half what my optician quoted. OK so the frames were not quite as nice! But I can't have everything.

Karen hope you get on OK with doctor and manage to get something sorted for your Mum.

Hi girls - I'll be short today as I'm a bit miffed. It seems my insides have become infected and if this course of antibiotics does not work then I will have to go in 30 June when I see the specialist for them to open me up again and cut out some more bits, so I am not best pleased The scar /wound is fine its internal bits that are playing up.

Hope it sorts itself out - there's still 9 days to go and the antibiotics may still do the trick. Crossing everything for you.
