Wonderful Wednesday!!!

Dont know why... just thought it would be a cheery start to a Wednesday!

Its just getting light out, but doesnt look very tropical out yet!
Busy day, I have to go to hospital this afternoon with mum... but never know what time the transport arrives, so will have to go down in good time.

Good morning Karen and all who follow Hope the transport turns up sooner rather than later Karen. I have to tidy up all my card making things today, from the lounge, dining room and my craft room Have never been in such a muddle before but all cards have been done and posted, just a few to hand deliver today. Got a birthday card to make first though for Friday.

Afternoon ladies. Grey and dismal here. had a quick trip to town this morning as I needed to go the Building society for Roy. Had a quick tidy round . This afternoon will vacuum craft room as I finally put everything away yesterday so I can now see the floor and table! Then I might do some scrapbooking as I have finished and posted all the Christmas cards and made all the January birthday cards. Wrapped all the presents as well.
Got big Tesco shop coming this afternoon so just got fresh stuff to get next week. Hopefully Roy will do that and I will just pick him up in the car when he's finished. Why am I so organised this year? It's never happened before

Well back home from hospital... breathing a sigh of relief. When Mum went for her retinopathy several weeks ago, they found something behind her eye. Hence the reason she was referred to hospital. We (or should I say I ) had been told that Mum had got 2 bleeds behind the eye, one had repaired itself, but the other hadnt and he wanted it checking out. Since then all things have gone through my mind.
Transport didnt arrive till 1.50, Mum's appointment was 2.05 and its a 45 min journey! The Dr. was Polish (I think) a little curt, but majority of the Drs are. Anyway, he has said he is quite happy with the condition of Mum's eyes, and just make sure she goes to all her retinopathy tests, and that was it we came home.

Just had a phone call from Dawn (night sitter) asking if I was ok - had a lovely chat with her, and I told her what Mum had said about Shelley ... Dawn did laugh!!!

Deciding what to do for tea now.... decisions, decisions!!!

Evening ladies .Well we've done the big food shop and got the freezer full , only got fruit and veg to do , and a few little bits so a huge sigh of relief ! Then went out to lunch with friends who are moving away on friday .Also popped into menders to get bag fixed and remembered I had a pair of shoes inthere from last Jan ,,,,, turns out pair of boots too .... The shoes I'd turned the house upside down looking for and assumed I'd left them in south africa!!!!

Karen glad things are ok with your mum's eyes!I've got to make a few more cards but apart from that pretty well organised !!

Glad your Mum's eyes are alright Karen, such a relief for you Shoes to the menders haven't done that in years. Mine are not worth mending, I'm not a shoe person, hate buying them.
