Morning!

Its a cold and frosty morning here today. Everywhere is white over... and more snow is forecast for tomorrow.
Well today, I am off to hospital with Mum - I did a little role play last night with her, to encourage her what she wanted to say to the Dr today. The Drs name is Kucklewich (or something like that!!) Mum called 'me' Dr Cookerwitch!!! Dr. K is very nice, but is Polish and although she does speak up so that Mum can hear her, the Polish accent is very strong.

So apart from that I am not doing a great deal today.

Well it's wet, dismal and windy here on the south coast.... and I have woken up feeling like crap.... Jacky I fink you have given me your cold .... how inconsiderate when u know i gotta go to hossy next week!!!

Got a real scratchy throat and a minging headache, spent most of the night blowing me shnoz too! Ended up sleeping high up on the pillows so back aint too pleased either!

Still never mind, hopefully it will pass..... it may not have been you Jacky but am gonna spray the Forum with some Dettox Antibacterial spray just in case so close yer mouth and eyes girls!!!!!

Having to wear my hand splints today so I apologise if the typing is below par....

Good morning Karen, Lou and all who follow Love you role playing with your Mum Karen, what a great idea Hope it helps. Lou, I have washed my hands before coming onto the forum, hope it wasn't me Do hope it doesnt develop. I was having to sleep upright a couple of nights to stop the coughing and blocking up. Last night a slept like a log - think I was so tired and still yawning now just thinking about it. I took Lemsip Max Day and Night Cold & Flu capsules all day yesterday which dried me up and I stopped coughing in the evening. I woke with the alarm at 7.00 this morning but switched it off and immediately went back to sleep. Didnt hear Martin come out of the bathroom, get dressed go downstairs and have his breakfast The next I knew was 7.45 he came up and brought me breakfast as he was off to work I had that and lay in for a little longer but then had to get up and harvest my farm Horrible out there so glad I'm am in. Martin has no heating in parts of the school and the children are in today. Perhaps they think the flu won't spread if they keep it cold He was really cold when he came home yesterday.

Well off to make a cuppa, haven't had one yet, take care all. Hugs to those who need one.

I'm not allowed to take any cold/flu remedies cos of my existing medications...!

I must admit since my pain killers kicked in I am feeling a little more human x

Afternoon ladies. Wet and cold here today it looked like there was some snow mixed in with the rain a little while ago. Glad you're feeling a bit better Jacky, Lou you'd better rest up so you're well enough for hossie next week!

Must admit I don't feel 100% today either - muzzy head, feeling cold and legs a bit jellylike

Got to go up to Roy's later as some friends are over from France and calling in for supper and I've got the food in my freezer. It's a bit unexpected they only rang last night! and I don't feel much like socialising. Going to put my feet up for the afternoon first though.

OMG I have managed to make 8.... yes 8... cards today!!!

Just had an email to say Anne is closing the shop but continuing with on line sales.

8 cards Lou I am struggling to make 1 - have just come on here to apologise to Andrea, as her card is still sitting on my dining room table. Have now finished colouring it in but not ready for posting yet I am afraid my SIL is going to have a bought one this year her birthday is on the 8th. I feel exhausted and I have only been sitting colouring in, did half of it last night and it's not a huge masterpiece I am painting.

Evening ladies ive been to aerobics today and had fun, got home and could not get warm but have now. Been a cold and wet day. Big hugs to the poorlies hope those colds go away soon. I got the email too very sad.

The forum as far as I am aware is a free service so unless Anne decides to shut it then it will stay and as she wanted to distance herself from the forum sometime ago I don't see that being an issue

And she's still having the online busieness.
