Morning gang , beautiful day here , we went for a lovely walk last night really enjoyed it .Got my friend comming round this morning so we can do a bit of scrapping she has'nt done it before ! So that will be fun ! enjoy what ever you are doing today .glad your mum was ok when you saw her and that your BIL got to see the match .Have a good day xxxx

Afternoon ladies. Not sure where this week has gone! Took the car to the garage this morning for its VERY EXPENSIVE repair but have got a courtesy car for the day. So used it to go to the garden centre to get some more plants. Also been having trouble with PC not sure whether its the computer or the modem as I keep losing internet connection in middle of doing something so been doing some housekeeping on the PC to see if that helps, doesn't seem to have made much difference so a call to Virgin is on the cards.

Glad your Mum was OK Jacky (I have been reading if not posting!) and that your BIL saw his match! Have a good day at the shop Marion and enjoy your scrapping Lexie. I'm just going to see what we're doing at card club tomorrow - think it involves circles - if so want to cut them out in advance!

Lexie, have fun with your friend scrapping. I really must get on and do some again - I stopped when my brother passed away, and everytime I think of doing more it makes me think of him. Perhaps I will have some good photos when I come back off holiday and do an Italian scrapbook to get me going again Got to do a card for my niece now - think I will do the challenge at the same time

What cheeky woman is that then Jacky (she says strolling about whistling with her hands behind her back) You loves me really and you wouldn't know what to do with yerself if I didn't come on and give you a bit of stick every now and then..... and as for waving your banning skills at me like a deterrant...doncha know thats as bad as waving a red flag at a bull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lexie have fun with your mate, always nice to have a go at a different sort of craft, I try not too to often cos I then end up spending out on new stuff so I am able to carry on doing it!!!

I had some sad news this morning.... the husband of a fellow crafter I am close to has passed away last night and although we had been expecting it as he was in end stage cancer in hospital it has still come as a bit of a shock... got the text when I was sitting in the cafe at the hospital and was trying so hard not to cry, was meeting my friend there after her consultant appt and when she came in to the cafe she just burst into tears so I was at least distracted comforting her .... must admit have been brooding a bit since I got home, cos now I am worried about her too

Made a start on a birthday card to try and take my mind off it but fingers so swollen and skin keeps cracking and bleeding that I am gonna ruin it if I keep going!!

Oh Lou, so sorry to hear about your friend's husband. I am sure you were a big comfort to her just being there. It is a shock when you get news like that. Take care and huge big hugs for you
