Had a brilliant few days away and will update my blog soon with all the news and pictures. We stayed in the home of a wildlife artist and a National Park Ranger so learnt lots about the flora and fauna. They had so many birds in their lovely garden and the kookaburras flew in each day to be fed by hand.

Did a walk 'round the block' (about 5 kms) at 8.00 each morning before breakfast with Wendy and Paul + several of their neighbours. Walked round Granite Island, the 'Heritage Walk' at Port Elliott and arount the mouth of the River Murray. A bit breeezy at times but always warm and sunny too. Its a little cooler at the coast but still very pleasent.

The hospitality was wonderful and we shall definately go back there again one day. They gave us a wine tasting seesion one night and also took us to the local Cinema on Wednesday morning - this was quite an experience. The building was Art Deco and before the performance ($10) they served free tea, coffee and home made cakes - all very civilised!

Morning Jane and all who follow...

Pleased you had a good time away.
Its a misty start to the day, but there is a breeze so might attempt to put some washing out!
Not sure what I am doing today, was going to say that we hadnt heard from the Estate Agent yesterday, but Keith has just checked the phone and apparently the couple want to come out today.
Better get moving, enjoy your day x

Good morning Jane, Karen and all who follow Very Happy Not nice here either Karen, bit drizzly but not too cold. I woke this morning with a headache and it developed into sore throat and blocked nose Sad Headache just about gone now and sucking Strepsils. Not in the mood for doing anything really today Very Happy Might pop into Camberley for a walk round while Martin is at his singing group later, might clear my head. Hope the couple are interested in the house Karen, keeping my fingers crossed for you Very Happy

Hugs for those who need one today Very Happy Take care all.

Morning ladies very miserable here today. Got calligraphy this afternoon and I did do my homework yesterday Very Happy So got to have early lunch as class starts at 1pm. Wish it was half an hour later. Scrapbooking went on late last night as well - suddenly realised it was 11pm and still there! Must have been all the chatting we were doing 'cos I didn't even finish a page.
Enjoy the rest of the day all.
