Fantastic Friday

Its raining! Yipeeeeee

5 hours of the steady stuff - not heavy with battering winds or ineffectual drizzle but goo garden quenching much-needed rain. Never thought I'd get this excited about it but after 2 months of almost drought conditions it is very welcome.

Off to IKEA to order the dining table and chairs and maybe a couple of other bits as i have a $50 voucher burning a hole in my pocket.

Back from the city now and have ordered the table and chairs - they should be delivered over the weekend so we can then invite guests for a meal. Quiet evening planned after all that activity. Sky is finally clearing and the sun trying to come out (5.30pm) but at least the plants have had a good drink.

Good morning Jane, Janet and all who follow. Lovely sunny morning here and thank goodness the wind has eased although looks like it will be worse for us again Mon night according to the Met Office. Didn't put the computer on at all yesterday but got a lot of cards done. Going to print out labels today to see how many more are needed.

Well had a bit of a mare of a morning....you know when ya REALLY need to do a card and ya MOJO just up and sods off?

Well it's Georgia's 13th on Monday and I had no idea what to do....

Luckily I found an image and it just looked like her.....and it was full of teen attitude! Gave me a bit of inspiration. Haven't made a gatefold A5 card for ages so thpought I would do one of those and this is what I came up with....

Well its bright and breezy here, cold out though.
Wont be on here tomorrow.... off to London for the day with Amy - just hope there are plenty of seats when the sciatica starts to play up!
Amy wants to go to Harrods, just to look at the Pet Section! Keith went to London yesterday, and went into Hamleys and got Bailey a teddy bear Thought he was going to keep it for christmas for her, but oh no!! I think it could be a crystal studded collar from Harrods for christmas

Absolutely love that card Lou I haven't done a gatefold for ages either. Karen have a great time in London - spend lots of money I have never been to Harrods - only been to London a few times - don't like the tubes.
