windy wet wednesday !!!

Morning Lexie and all who follow. Another rainy day quite depressing after the sun yesterday. Got to get a load of cards done for May birthdays as we are away a lot in May and don't want to forget anyone.

No rain here as yet... oops, just looked out and it is raining!
Had a good night with Daisy, she was sick twice yesterday, but managed to keep her tea down and no early morning barking. I asked the vet if she was too thin, she looks skinny ribs, but she was happy with Daisy's weight. Probably judging her by Bailey... who at Daisy's age was a little pudding!
Managed to get some washing dry yesterday. Not much going on today - Keith still in bed, he forgot to take his tablets last night... so that will leave him feeling rough today.
Think I will have an easy day!

Jacky, I have two birthdays and a wedding aniversary in May, and I was just thinking I had better get started on them. Although I shan't be away, the way that April has flown, May will be here before we know it.
Karen, sorry to hear about Daisy not being well, thats the trouble with babies and animals isn't it? they can't tell us how they feel.

I have actually been out this week, to the charity shop on Monday and to the "oldies" club yesterday, so I am having a day at home today, and hope to get started on my grandaughters birthday card.

Good morning ladies. Horrid here !! Very wet and if I could I would be staying in but got an optician's appointment. Not sure why as it's less than a year since I went but they had put me down to be seen again after 6 months. when I rang the optician wasn't there and receptionist didn't know! Will have to wait and see what's what but hope they don't think I'm going to pay for it as its less than 12 months since the last one.
Off for a coffee now before I go.

Hope you enjoyed your meal at The Lloyds bar yesterday Jacky, I have been there a few times for meals after works with the
girls as it is half way house to where we all live. If you are down this way again let me know, I don't need much excuse to
take a flexi afternoon from work and come out to have a laugh.

Karen I hope Daisy picks up soon, it is worse then having kids sometimes. We lost our last cat last April and we did try to take
on one earlier this year but my OH was allergic to its fur, but I have just been told by the girl who took that one, that her friends 2 cats have just had 7 kittens between them so will have to consider if we are ready to have another go. I think they are good for my OH as he is a right stress pot and does feel better when he sits stroking the cats.

I didn't know there was a crafty cow facebook group - where have I been hiding will have to have a look for that as I am on
there briefly most days.

I wish you ladies would stop talking about birthdays in May, I reach the grand age of 50 then and I really don't know how
that happened lol!!!

Its all down hill from there! I was 50 last year and since then have had more aches and pains than I have ever had!
