Monday morning

Morning all, Monday and start of a new week, just getting the first cuppa of the day , well our decorations are down now thought it was time as they were up since 1st December , the place looks so light and bright, Hubby has a day of work today, now, just what can I find him to do Well I hope you have a good day, what are you all up to today? Morning Janet and all who follow i will be taking mine down Friday always have done . Not doing very much only housework and been playing with two new cricut carts i treat myself to for christmas. Got hubby to take me to spring green gardens yesterday has they have a little craft cabin bursting with goodies , and i needed more card so i got two boxes full. I hope you had a great Chrimbo and a good weekend.

We took our friends out to Avebury in Wiltshire yesterday to see the stone circle, they were very impressed with it, we also had a fantastic meal in the local pub.

Mum has a really bad cold that she came back from Spain with so it's down to her today to do some shopping for her and tidy around, Alan is off work until the 5th Jan

I have about £210 in craft vouchers that I have been given for my birthday and Chrimbo, but the shop they are for is closed until 3rd Jan, so I will have to wait to spend them

There's a new craft magazine coming out on the 10th of Feb called Creative Cardmaking, it is advertised in the Jan issue of Papercraft essentials, there is a web site but theres nothing on it at the moment.

Does anyone have any projects planned for this year? I am going to try and keep my web site up todate and write a regular blogg.

I am going to do a lot more stamping and watercolouring and more Pagan cards.

Good morning Janet, Andrea, Mikki and all who follow Got to nip out and get Mike's Mums birthday pressie and also bake and decorate her cake, we were all talking a while back and she said she always as a child wanted a big pink birthday cake and never got one so guess what sort of cake I will be making Have made a little bouquet of pink roses for the top of it and got plenty of ribbon, curling ribbon and sparkler candles for it to, OTT but well why not Got to pack our bags again and we are back off up there tomorrow but just overnight this time, will be back on Wednesday but the dreaded M25 again
Hope everyone is now feeling much better

Always wondered whether one of those sucky things put on blow would do the dusting in record time

Quiet day planned - getting this months cards ready to post then planning a couple of classes for next year!
Invalid a bit better today - he's up and dressed but taking it easy.

I'll try to get to the gym and swim later - should be quiet! Looks like I may have put on a couple of pounds but should get them off before the next weigh-in!

Morning ladies. having a quiet day today. Have just got all my January cards ready for post along with a big jiffy bag of goodies for DIL who wants to try cardmaking. Lovely day here but car said it was -2 this morning.

Afternoon everyone, lovely bright day here today but very cold. I have been up half the night with tummy upset - so won't be venturing far from the loo today Just scanning in the ATC's so that I can sort them out ready for posting Hope there aren't any more to come which have been stuck in the Christmas post, but I won't be posting any until the end of Dec.

Had the children today since 7.00 am and they havent long gone. So before I get any tea on the go, I am participating in one glass of wine!!! Just got them again tomorrow and thats it until they go back to school next week.
Taking our deccies down bit by bit... dont like doing it as everywhere looks so empty, but its got to be done... I need to dust sorry I shouldnt swear on here!!!

Hi Girls well i bought a new computer in november and guess what is froze up on me boxing day, and i spent 2.1/2 hrs in comet yesterday i told them i wasnt moving till i got my money back they told me i couldnt get it, i said i was staying there and they could fetch the police if they wanted to, well another girl came and took over and she fetched me a chair and a cup of tea and 2.1/2hrs of testing the computer it still wouldnt work, and in the end i came out with my money not cash but a gift card, so i was back there today getting me a new computer and hope this one works for longer than a month.

Glad you all had a nice xmas, i couldnt possible take my deccs down till 12 night, never have done not even the year i lost my mom at xmas she would never allow it, I had a funny stomach on saturday couldnt move to far from the loo, and now today i feel all hot, cold, achie, and ear ache, think the kids have passed there germs on.

Well done Cally, sticking to your guns Glad things worked out for you. Hope you have more success with this one I feel fine this morning, though I had a really bad headache when I went to bed last night, think it was dehydration.

Might have been the upset tummy Jackie. Roy's tummy wasn't right yesterday and he said his head felt really muzzy. Tummy OK today but head still not quite right.
