Good morning to you all,

We woke up to a white landscape, it had snowed during the night and every where is white, it quiet thick in places. and still really cold so wrap up warm if your going out.

So the first week of the new year what have you all got planned for 2009? I want to try and make a proper business out of my cards.

Tescos are selling A5 size box files in different colours Alan brought me six I am going to use them to store different themed cards in ie. mens, ladies and children.

I got my Pringles tin also, my friend was about to throw it away and thought I was quiet mad when I said I needed it Smile

Well breakie is calling me, I'm having egg and ham muffins(not the sweet kind)mmmmm

Warming hugz
xx

Snow day Monday Empty Here we go again

Post  poppytree Mon Jan 05, 2009 11:52 am

Snow day Monday Th_d11016df

Here we go again. Roll on next month.
Have got to take a class this morning so leaving early as the roads look bad.

Have a good day everyone, what ever you are doing and stay warm.

Have just booked a 4 day escorted trip into the outback for when we're in Oz. Includes a flight in a Cesna over the Flinders ranges and lots of 4 wheel drive excursions. There's even a night tour of an observatory - one of the best places in the southern hemisphere for star gazing!

Morning Mikki and Jane and all who follow, woke up to a layer of the white stuff here too but it is going quite fast thankfully. Your pic looks lovely Jane with all the snow on the trees, looks like you had a bit more than we did and holiday excursion sounds great Smile
Not got anything planned today except keeping warm, wrap up on your walk Jacky and that hat will be a necessity Laughing
Have a good day all Smile

White here too and it's snowing as I speak! Got a bit of shopping to do and the opticians. Then back to the warm. I'm quite looking forward to having a normal week now that everyone is back to work. Roy is not a happy bunny this morning - I think he has got used to not working as he had 3 weeks off to use up leave.

Morning all Embarassed Embarassed Not on walk today (thank goodness) realised last night that they had changed the day to Tuesday so still got it to look forward to What a Face They have decided that one month it will be on the Monday and the next Tuesday as there were so many people couldn't make the Monday who wanted to join. We shall see who turns up tomorrow Very Happy Still white here but looks like the road is clearing. I ordered a coat from QVC which is fur lined and has a hood so should be snug tomorrow as that came this morning Very Happy I find when it's cold I ache all over, this morning particularly the tops of my fingers, legs and butt Crying or Very sad Going to take some paracetamol to see if that helps Smile

Hope you all enjoy your day whatever you are doing Very Happy

Ok you ladies are making me feel quite deprived now as we have no snow Sad We actually have sunshine, well someone told me that's what the shiny yellow thing in the sky gave us during the day he he. I'm sure its chilly out as Tash has only got as far as the window and is now snug in my bed he he. Talking of which I had to laugh at her last night, she normally sleeps on my bed and I have the heating off overnight. About 10 mins after I had settled down in bed I felt this little furry thing creep under the duvet and snuggle up to my feet and that's where she stayed all night he he. Seems like a fur coat isn't warm enough for her these days she needs a duvet too .... but she is not a spoilt cat, honest guv he he Smile

Hope you all have a great day and for the ones back to work/school today hope it wasn't too painful he he Smile For those not well huge hugs Smile

Can't believe you didnt have snow Jen Shocked My Mum in Cheltenham has had more than us so I would have thought you would have had it as well. I consider you very lucky Laughing Laughing I don't like it. Evil or Very Mad

Sorry to hear you have now got the bug Janette, I still have bouts of coughing although I got over the other symptoms quite quickly, the sore throat only lasted 2 days. I think I start coughing when I go into different rooms and the temperature is different. Ok once I have been in there a while though Rolling Eyes Hope you get well soon, glad the doc is going to put you on the other tablets, hopefully it will cure it Very Happy

Evening!

Havent been on here for a few days... just dont know where time goes to. Popped onto the puter this morning and had flashing lights and warning signs... so left it until hubby came home to sort out! Also have had the 2 children I look after all day as their school had an Inset day. Amy was back today though - think she was looking forward to getting back.
Its been very cold here today, but no snow. Had to go out to deliver a couple of cards and the paths were very icy.
Day off for me tomorrow, so my plan is to do .,... nothing!
Hope you are keeping well. Stay warm and take care xx

Evening everyone. We woke up to about an inch of snow. This pleased the kids as they go back to school tomorrow. They spent most of the day making a snowman and throwing snowballs at each other. I haven't done much today just tidied away my Christmas craft items I've now got to take the tree down and put it away.

Have a good night and keep warm Smile
