Got about 10" here ansd still snowing. Doesn't it look pretty while it's still unspoilt! Roy set off for work today by train. Last time I spoke to him he was at Readng waiting for courtesy bus. Told him I thought he shouls turn round and go home as travel updates wre getting worse. But he's an obstinate so and so - expect he will continue if he can! Needn't think I'm driving to Reading to get him though if he gets stuck! Off for bath and hair wash then think I'll brave the garden to take some photos and feed the birds. Blackbird was trying to get food out of one of the feeders first thing!

Maybe it's 'cos you're by the sea! Mind you I remember how it used to snow in Thanet - they always used to put the snow fences up at Manston along the Ramsgate road. Don't know whether they still do. Don't go down there anymore.

No BA flights till after 5pm and a plane has skidded off runway so think it's closed again. Hope it improves before you travel.

Roy's still at work - obstinate so and so. Just hope he leaves at lunchtime like he says he's going to or I can see him getting stuck somewhere.

The one person apart from Lou who would love snow doesn't have even one flake Sad I am not going to pout, really I'm not ....... boo! hoo! ..... I can deal with my loss Sad

Seriously though, ladies do take care, wrap up warm and don't take any risks Smile Oh and, send some over to me .... please !!!! pretty please !!! he he

While you are confined to the house, check out these cute wooden shapes, the heart ones are on offer up until midnight today. They are great for painting or triple embossing Smile
Craftshapes - wooden shapes

I was saddened to learn that Virgo crafts will be closing down due to retirement, I use them for stencils etc and JS paper in single sheets if you love and use a lot of a specific one.

Hugs for all

Good morning ladies, woke up to a very thin layer of snow but it has been snowing on and off all morning and have about an inch or so now but it doesn't seem to be laying very fast or deeply thankfully.
Have just put a toad in the hole in the oven for dinner, and made a trifle, it's my daughters birthday today and she's coming down for dinner and it's what she wanted Laughing
Roy must be mad Sue, I would have stayed home after seeing the travel news.
Good for you Lou, I know you wanted some snow and now you have it Smile
Keep warm ladies and safe Smile

I couldn't agree more. He asked me if I was going out today- no chance unless I really really have to!

Afternoon everyone we have 4" of snow and it's still coming down. My 3 are at school it's the only one in the area and we've been told the only one in the County that is open. No Brownies tonight though as the school we use is shut. Going to try and finish some cards later.

Have a good afternoon and stay warm whatever you are doing

We will definitely not be going to badminton tonight. Sally has walked to work but I bet she is one of very few - but it is her busy time so she should be able to get a lot done when it's quiet. Ian and his wife are both at home, luckily Ian can work from home Very Happy Molly has had a good time too

We have had snow, about 4inches and i have a doctors appointment at 5pm might ring up and cancel it might be worse by tonight dont know what to do, i hate the snow because if i slip thats my back gone, will wait till they reopen at 2 and might give them a ring, i can just ask for a continuation note for 2 weeks.

Take care if you have to go out, my black bird was waiting on the fence for his breakfast, i baked a cake the other day and had some stale fruit so i made a special cake just for the birds, i now i am mad.

Right am off to have something hot to eat, back later
