Mmmm, trifle, my kind of supper - or breakfast for that matter! Mind you, my supper wasn't that bad - leftover marmalade bread and butter pudding. pig Laughing

My absolute favourite is chocolate bread and butter pudding - to die for. Even straight from the fridge it is yummy - like a dense chocolate fudge cake. Mmmm. Think I might have to make that this weekend. Smile

Lexie, congrats on reaching moo'ver. Laughing Can you spend too much time on here???!! Wink

Suppose I better get on and do some of that boring work I brought home. Sad Sad

Jen, just seen your reply - wasn't ignoring ya! I can't lay any special claim to the chocolate bread and butter pudding - it is (I know for some, this name may be akin to bad language) a Delia Smith one! Just click here for a scrummy list, the chocolate one is third one down. I am a bit of a Delia fan, even her how to cheat; it was her fab how to cook series that hooked me.

I did make one this weekend, although I do omit the rum as I can't stand alcohol in chocolate puddings - only place for that is in a glass! Monday morning - Page 2 916514 Needless to say, it didn't last long! Smile

Oh Lexie, hope you find them again - don't know if I could actually read one off there, like to hold a book in my hand - but for travelling it must be great as you can take as many books as you like Very Happy

Post  Kittyhawk Tue Feb 09, 2010 12:27 am

Sorry I've not been on for a bit; work has been a bit of a moo (no pun intended) and it won't ease up until May. When I actually have some spare time, I'm usually so tired I end up falling asleep! Rosemary asked me how my card making was going; I've managed to make a grand total of three this year, two birthday cards and one Christmas card (I found a gift tag late New Years Eve and come 12:15am, I had my first Chrimbo card!) Like to say I'm ahead of the game for Christmas but that's probably it until 30 November!!! Rolling Eyes

Lexie; I hope you get your e-reader sorted. I love my gadgets, but the trouble they cause when they go wrong! Evil or Very Mad Now, if someone could invent a gadget that did all the h*******k (to my standard - I'm an ex-scrubber!). Oh, isn't that a Housekeeper?!
