Update on Jayne

Couldn't have said it better myself Lexie and Janet
I have been a carer 3 times in my life and each time was very aware of hearing being very acute even although the person is deep in 'sleep'
I really think that doctors, especially consultants!!!, should be given a secret patient, bit like a secret shopper, to test them on their bedside manners
I, personnally, have met quite a few in my lifetime who would fail miserably

Not much change here today, didnt see Jayne today as I have a bit of the sniffles and dont want to pass anything on, might just be the cold or a cold but not taking any chances. Her temperature rose a little in the night but they are playing around with her meds so might explain it.
As if this wasnt bad enough when Mike got home from work this evening there was a note pushed through the door from the RSPCA regarding 'your dog' have no idea what it is about and when Mike rung neither did they. Ok so he might be a bit smelly but he is around 13 years old which is a good age for a Shar Pei and Mike only bathed him the other day and he is a bit stinky already apparently but for ***** sake cant they find something better to do. He was so calm on the phone we were chatting on Yahoo I wouldnt have been and would have demanded answers!!!!

I know from chats with you and Jayne in the past how much you care for your dog!!!
The fact that your dog has got to that age proves that!

It must have been breaking your heart to stay away but it just shows how much you care
The temp raise could very well be about the drug situation, that is one thing I do have personal experience of
I hope your cold clears up soon Jan and you take care of yourself (nag).

Thanks for keeping us up to date Jan, how hard it must have been to stay away. Sending you more hugs Hope it is just because it's cold. As you and Sadie say, the temperature is probably to do with meds. I know with Sally they kept changing things until her temperature stabilised. As for your dog, what on earth is going on. Do you think he is barking when you are both out as he knows something is going on and someone has complained, dogs do seem to know these things. You take care of yourself too, or I will set Sadie on you

Look after yourself Jan . otherwise you will be no good to anyone ! Don't worry about your dog , I am sure Mike will sort it out , if here anything to sort out! Keep your chin up , we are thinking and praying for Jayne here , x

The only time anyone will say they hear my dog bark and thats if someone comes to the door, even then half the time he cant be bothered to move and just lays there so I have no idea why they left the note, he is well looked after and loved makes me sick when you see the way some people treat their animals

Oh dear Jacky that isn't much of a threat these days

Try not to worry about the dog Jan, it is sure to be a misunderstanding as we all know and one that will be easily cleared up

Though he is getting better
There has to have been a mix up or some misunderstanding somewhere along the line

I don't know about getting better, Molly is definitely getting worse. She barks at the slightest thing. When anyone comes to the door she barks and when we let them in she goes into a high pitched squeal of delight. She thinks everyone who comes are there to play with her

Hope the sniffles soon clear up hun and that Jaynes temp settles, probably the med changes as you say

As for petty interfering people with nothing better to do... ignore them!

Oh Jan, so sorry, what are some people like, you love your dog and he is lovely bless him and very well looked after, he is most likely missing you. I do hope you feel better today and will be able to visit Jayne soon again love and hugs to you.

They are changing her tube today, not sure yet whether that means the trache or what but have to ring them later to see when we can visit. They changed her meds and they are happy with her progress, all this waiting though is driving me crazyyyyyyyyyyyyy

She has had the trache done and has come through it ok, they are still with her but so far so good, I am so relieved I could scream

Nothing better than a darn good scream for releasing tension
I was told that by a doctor when going through a particularly trying period
He pointed out to me that this is why you rarely see toddlers with tension and also how the women in Far Eastern countries dealt with things in their life so much better than us
And it worked!!!
Naturally I always made sure that I did it in complete privacy
