Update on Jayne

OMG she looked just like Jayne this evening and looks so much better and they are pleased how much she has progressed today since having the trache done, smiling now

Brilliant news, I am so pleased for you both, and especially you as you now have the confirmation that you needed that you were right to sign that form Its one heck of a responsibility making decisions like that and harder to do when on your own, huge hugs for you too hun

Jan, really pleased to hear of Jaynes improvement, lets hope its all onwards and upwards now.

Sorry I have not got on sooner but I am afraid that is the way things are now.
I cannot say how happy I am for both you and Jayne
It is far from easy being the next of kin, been there a few times, and having to sign forms but thankfully all is coming together
This has made another-wise bad weekend into a good one
Just keep in mind that you are doing a BRILLIANT job
LOTS of love to all concerned

I didnt see her yesterday because of the weather but going over around 1 so will give update when I get back

Just got back from the hospital and all is well
So well in fact I thought she was telling me to f off but she wasnt she meant for me to tell the nurses to oops and her mouth looked so dry and managed to work out that she needed a drink, she obviously cant at the moment but they are wipe her mouth around with sponge lollies dipped in water. You can also tell when she is getting annoyed, that look is still there. They havent reduced her oxygen level as yet and she is being a bit naughty as they are lowering the sedation so are having to bring that down very slowly but things are still going the right way so thats a good thing albeit a little bit distressing to see

Jan , its going to take a while and slowly she'll get right , she has beeen sedated for a while now so slowly , slowly goes it, she will probably need a bit of Oxgyen when she wakes up fully , and slowly they will take her off it .It will be so lovely for you when you go in and no drips , tubes or anything ....hang in there girl .Glad shes doing ok , big hug for you too .You must be missing your hubby and dog loads , bless your heart xxx

Can bet she will be mega frustrated but that in itself is a really good sign

Now you try and take it a bit easier and can start to relax a bit more

Hard to relax when I have a premenstral daughter with me who has turned from Cinderella into Damian from the Omen
