and what a lovely morning it is! Must be all Andrea's doing!! It is very much appreciated.
Off down to mum's in bit to take her tablets and then on to feed the cats across the road - I go into the house checking the snake tank to make sure they havent got out - dont know what I would do if they had!
Keith off for physio shortly, so I will get a bit of hoovering done and then crafting!

Morning ladies - beautiful sunny day here. Got Michael coming for lunch as its his birthday. Can't believe my baby is 26 . Having fish stew followed by an extremelt expensive chocalate torte. He saw the recipe and said it looked nice so in a rash moment I said I'd make it. The ingredients cost £15!!!!!! He'd better enjoy it.

Wow that chocolate torte sounds wonderful. Chocolate's off the menu for me now after a small binge over Easter.

Can't believe I actually lost 2 pounds this week. Sweating off a heck of a lot more at the moment as I've just stripped the walls in the dining room and have put up the first length of paper. The room was so scruffy and the old paper was peeling away so had to start afresh - even 'sized' the walls first with a fungicide paste.

Glad I finished my 'Tilda' prep for last week as they just phoned to say the class is fully subscribed! Having a day of decorating tomorrow - hair cut at 9, drop of about 100 books ofat BookAid in Charlewood then out to lunch at 1.00 with friends. Then probably 2 runs to the Charity shop in the afternoon with more books, videos, glasses, bed linen, clothes, old coats, pictures....

Just of for a cuppa then back to the paper hanging - talk to you later - have a brilliant day all and enjoy the sunshine.

WO ! Jane you are really going for it ! Looks like Kathryn and Ian won't be going to New Zealand now so I can't see Micky going to South Africa permantly now oh well it was just a thought .... take care xx :

Good morning ladies ( afternoon for you ) lovely day here again glad you got some sun. Cnnot get used to the time differance waking up at three every morning managed to drop back off but only for an hour. We are going to find the Friends building and take some piccies. Big hugs to the poorlies and i will check back later. Enjoy your day ladies and well done Jane on the weight loss, Karen you are brave to be checking on the snakes, have a good day at work Jan.

............and the day just gets better. Stopped for a lunch/drink break. On my 3rd roll of paper now and its looksing quite good.

Best of all, the missing certificate has just been delivered. If we can get an appointment with the solicitor tomorrow and Karen's stuff arrives we might even be able to get everything in the post to arrive Monday morning. Not banking on it but we're another step closer. At least it will all be done by next weekend!

Warmish (well I am) and sunny - a beautiful spring day for once.
Rather you than me Karen - snakes are not my favourite things - give me a big hairy spider any day - I just love red kneed tarantulas, they're so cute and furry!

Hate snakes , not brill with spiders but am getting better as I get older with spiders , Hate rats , bats give me the creeps but Iam ok with them ! Glad things are finally moving for you Jane , Iam really pleased for you !

Fortunately I dont have anything to do with the snakes... there is a bit of blu tack stuck on the tank door as one of the snakes can slide the door open Which is why I always check the blu tack is still intact!!! Mind you I have wondered if it was open, either the cat would be sat there with a snake hanging out of its mouth or the snake would be sat (if snakes can sit!!) there with a cat shape in its tum!!!
Been a lovely day - went into town with Keith and people were wandering around in shorts and sleeveless t shirts - dont think its quite that warm, but at least we are heading the right way now.

lovely day here too . washing dried lovely !!! next to do tomorrow is he ironing !!! xx

hi there all karen you are brave even going into the house with snakes there, jane you have been busy and glad things are moving for you, know we are down here in st ives it makes me want to move here permanent and its been really nice today, we have been sitting on the harbour and i have burnt my arms and boobies and legs i never learn do i.

hope every one elsie is ok and lou hope your daughter is ok. and thanks for that email, havent been able to print it out will have to wait till i get back home.
