Morning lades.

Still dark here, but I have had to put the heating on, think its the rain we have been having the last couple of days, it makes the house feel colder. But it will only be on for an hour as I am off to the charity shop this morning.

Sarah phoned me last night, lol she does every night though, to say they are coming tonight for the week end. I haven't seen them since Christmas but gosh it seems ages ago.

Off to Sandown today - taking one of my friends from our walking group who started crafting last year and came round a few times to try out some of my things. Martin will probably go and play golf there while we shop

Busy in here this morning!
Its wet and dismal out - had rain last night, quite heavy.
Bit of tidying, and thats about it for me.... unless I decide to clear another cupboard out like I did yesterday!

Been a good day here. Our visitors were home very late last night so we were all up much later - Reuben cooked delicious American style pancakes with bacon on the BBQ for brekkie - yum

Did some sewing with Abigail and a couple of loads of washing once they all went out. We've had a quiet day for once watching TV staying cool (33 most of the day) and a bit of gardening in the shade.

Off to the big stage 5 day of the Tour Down Under at Aldinga Beach, Snapper Point, McLaren Vale and Willunga Hill so its time to lay out the clothes, hats and sunscreen and decide what to pack in the Eskie as its going to be an early start and another long hot day....ho hum..

They climb the difficult 8km hill out of Willunga twice finishing at the top on the 2nd lap! That should sort the men out from the boys.

GGGGRRRRRR have just had a letter from the hospital.......they have cancelled Ady's cardiology appt on the 6th Feb..... not given him another one just told him to ring and re-appoint. They have the cheek to put on the bottom of the letter that if we do not contact within 2 weeks they will assume he will no longer need an appointment and that non attendance costs the NHS £150 a visit!!!

THEY BL**DY CANCELLED IT !!!!! THEY ARE MUCKING US ABOUT NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND!!!!

Have just phoned them on his behalf and they have let me re-make the appt......now for the 17th Feb so thats more time to wait to see in what way my hubby's ticker is dodgy Its like living on a bloomin knife edge as it is.....

Gawd Lou the flipping hospitals are a law unto themselves and left hand right hand, they never know what each other are doing. Lovely to see you

the hospitals don't seem to appreciate the stress it causes people when they change appointments. Glad you have got another appointment arranged now Lou but it is so annoying when you have set the target date and its moved. Hugs for you.
