Good morning Ladies and Gents,

What a beautiful sunny morning we have here in North London.

I hope you are all well and looking forward to a great weekend cheers sunny

I spent all of yesterday morning at the hospital with Mum, she has leg pain and had to have a scan then see the consultant and of course both places were running late, we got to the hospital at 9am and left at 12pm and they still can not find the problem so she now has to have an MRI scan.

I did how ever gets some wonderful card stock its pearlescent and foiled you have to see it to understand why it is so beautiful.

Whats peoples plans for the weekend?

We shall go for a drive after breakfast, today we are going to an American diner called Starvin Marvin this place is an original American diner, the whole thing was brought over from America and they do tradditional American breakfasts with pancakes and eggs how ever you want them, the bacon is really crispy and goes so well with the pancakes and maple syrup Very Happy as I said before I have to get all my fav eating places in before I have the gastric bypass surgry and I have to keep my BMI over 35 or they wont do the surgry.

I have never chatted with Beverly on here as she has been in hospital, but Pepi please send her my love and I wish her well.

Thats all for now.

I wish you all a wonderfu day

Good morning Mikki,

It was glorious sunny weather without a cloud in sight when I got up at 5.45 am this monring.
But now it has clouded over and it looks and feels like the heaven could open any minute.

I'm so jealous of the breakfast you will have this morning. It sounds devine. If you don't already know I live to eat Exclamation Razz Embarassed Please depress me some more and give me a run down of what you actually had will you Question Very Happy

I have quite boring day planned. I shall go to the post office, bank, wilkinson's and tesco this morning. I'm not sure what I'm doing later but hope that I will be able to fit in some crafting. I want to get on with the card and ATC swap.

I shall text Beverley later today and pass on your message Very Happy

Enjoy your breakfast

Enjoyed Mama Mia last night and was still singing the songs as Ipounded up and down the pool at 7.45 while doing my 40 lengths! Just had a nice cooked breakfast and am preparing a picnic while waiting for the washing machine to finish. Hope to have a walk round Wakehurst later and maybe an NT property such as Standen or Nymans is time and the weather stays dry.

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone - I expect I'll be back on here tonight.

Morning ladies Smile
I'm going to an international food festival with street entertainment today, I just hope those clouds keep blowing over. I feel its such a shame when folk spend months organising an event just to have the weather spoil it all Sad
Tomorrow I'm off to another Agricultural show, if my legs allow me after today's walking he he. They haven't fully recovered since we went to Poole Thursday.
Talking of Poole you should have seen the craft shop I found there, it was huge with floor to ceiling stacked with goodies and isle after isle - oh man I could have spent a few hours there but was very good and only spent a very short time he he.
Hope you all have a great weekend and that the nasty rain holds off Smile

Good afternoon ladies. Just a quick visit today. Been busy this morning shops and making dessert for tonight. Roy's cooking the main course. he cooks most weekends. I'm planning a bit of crafting this afternoon as it has really clouded over here so think I'll give the gardening a miss. I'm a fair weather gardener! Hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Good afternoon Ladies and Gents,

Pepi the breakfast was as wonderful and tasty as always, I had scrambled eggs, crispy bacon grilled toms and 4 pancakes with butter and maple syrup(thats all on one plate as you eat the bacon and pancakes together) the combination of sweet and salt is so nice.

I went to a Craft Central shop in St Albans but it was very poorly stocked, I needed some more A4 storage boxes, so we carried on up to Stevenage and Hobbycraft where they had stocks of them. After that we drove around a few villiages so Alan could photograph the village signs and have a look in the church's, one church he went in had little mice carved in to the bench ends they are so well done.

I am sorry to say that sunny Saturday didn't last and we had rain so came home.

How was the food festival Jenny? I love going round food fairs you end up not needing lunch or tea after.

Mama Mia sound such fun I love Abba songs as well as Meryl streep and Julie Walters, one of my fav films is Educating Rita(Julie Walters) I done OU courses and it was just how the film showed it.

I hope you have all had a great day, I would love to grow veg but I'm just not very green fingered.

I had a girlie night in withmy daughter with takeaway and dvd and then she stayed the night. This afternoon we went to the Church fete and just as we left the rain fell, so we were very lucky. We had a lovely cream tea there.

Hope your Mum is ok Mikki. Thinking of you, you sound as though you have had a good day. Jen Hope you enjoyed your Food festival, and Jane glad you had a lovely day at Wakehurst/

The food festival was great thanks - I ate too much, but what the heck you only live once and it is the weekend [diet free days he he]. I've been too tired to play with the new craft goodies I bought over the last few days, but I have loads of ideas rolling around in my head so hopefully some good cards will come out of it he he.
Time for bed for me night night girls Smile
