Good morning Ladies and Gents,

I hope you are all well and have had a great weekend even though yesterday was a bit soggy.

Saturday we went out for a drive around Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, Alan found some village signs and some really beautiful churches.

Friday was an expensive day for me, my cat Pepi is 15 yrs old now and she has had a bit of trouble closing her mouth however Friday night she was really panicing trying to close her mouth so we took her to a 24/7 vet, Pepi is not a good patient she ha warnings on her notes at the vet we normally go to, so I explained this to the vet and I wraped her in a towel so that only her head could move. the vet didn't touch her in any way and he siad he thought she had a problem with her blood and would need a complete blood work out plus xrays ect, I said as long as she would be ok I would takeher to our vet, he wanted to giher an injection of anti inflamatory drugs and I said no thanks, this talk with him cost me £91 he never touched her, he never done anything other than talks and that five min's cost £91, I could do his job, I'm good at talking. Pepi, well the little minx is ok now and her jaw is fine Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Think of all the craft products I could have brought Smile

Have a good day and I hope the sun shines where ever you are.

xx

Glad Pepi is ok now Mikki. Pets are a worry aren't they Rolling Eyes It cost us £250 for 3 stitches when Molly our dog was bitten by another dog on my birthday. I have put some photos of Molly on my photobucket as a few people asked to see her Smile

Hi

Our pets are our life long friends and when they get to Pepi age it starts getting expensive.
Glad Pepi is ok now.

Popeye (what a name! that was my husbands choice I might add) our cat is sixteen and I am dreading the day when he becomes poorly.

But its like the kids, you have been up all night with them and call the doctor first things but cant get an appointment until the afternoon!!! By that time they are much better and you feel such a fool.

Everyone have a good bank holiday Monday.

lol!

Thanks Jacky, where are you going, have a great time and I hope the weather is good.

I did have a much better day, we took my son Daniel (age 25 and still no sign of any grandchildren Sad ) out for lunch, I have never seen a person put away so much food in such a short time. We had a good time and as Alan pointed out after we had dropped Daniel off, we didn't argue.

Take care.

Think I would have asked that vet exactly what he did that warranted me paying him £91 and they wonder why people abandon their animals when they get sick, that's disgusting and should be reported

I agree Cubbie
I have never been charged that for a consultation!
I think he was charging you extra because you didn't use him for any treatment Evil or Very Mad
There must be a way to report this!!!
