Super Sunday

Had a great lunch out yesterday - gourmet food at cafe prices! I tried Zucchini (courgette) flowers stuffed with feta cheese and roast pumpkin (deep fried in a tempura batter) on an artichoke and cherry tomato salad with mint dressing - yummy!

Drove round the area we would like to settle in and ended up going to 3 'opens' - house viewings. arather too hot for picnic on te beach (no shade) so heading for the hills instead - might do a few more 'opens' as they only tend to happen at weekends. Bright and breezy here - just put some washing on the line with extra pegs... just in case!
Was a windy night as well, I had my window open, but had to close it as the door kept banging.
Went down to Mum's and she in quite a cheery mood - makes me feel so much better, and the bad days are forgotten. I have been going on a website that Sue mentioned, and it has helped no end - I realise I am not alone when I feel frustrated.
Keith still in bed, he is feeling rough - dont know whether its because he is reducing his morphine as per Drs. instructions. Its going to be June before he is on a low enough dose to go onto something else, or whether he is just doing too much.

Just a quick visit, we have Callie today as Ian & Ruth have gone to pick up some display frames so cant get Callie in the car too. Martin has just taken her for a walk so nipped on here for a quick look

It's very windy here today and the washing keeps blowing off the line so I have given up and got it all around the house. I've got 5 cards to make for 2 weeks time so I really should get them made

Afternoon ladies. Thank goodness the antibiotics seem to be kicking in now - feel almost normal today! I couldn't get the link to work either Jane - said the page was unavailable- maybe it's been sold!

Glad the website is helping Karen. I know round here they have a group that meets - I never went to it but if there is one local to you it might be a help/support for you.

Roy attacked my garage yesterday for me - didn't get rid of anything but at least the man can get to the wall now to put the insulation in!

Hello Girls , sorry I've not beeen on the forum I 've been really poorly but glad to say Iam very much better , yesturday was the 1st day I'd felt vaguely human for weeks ! Seems like the 3rd lot of antibiotics have kicked in at last ! Jane glad you arrived safely in oz , have'nt a clue when you arrived but enjoy .... hope you find a nicearea and are you thinking of buying now ? well hope it goes well .So many nasty bugs going aroud even Micky was ruff which is very unusual for him .
Well Dulcie has had lots of sessions at Philpots school , afternoons here and there and on wednesday she went for the whole day and on tuesday she is going for the whole day , her dad and I wish they would just let her start , but nothing is as easy as that , looks like she maybe a day girl for a while and residential later on , but to be honest We are just glad she is at school or will be ......
I 've loads to catch up on so forgive me if I am not with it for a while ! Take care everyone speak later .
