Isn't lovely Wednesday already, only have to work today and tomorrow then Friday off for a nice long weekend again.

Morning everyone. It's dull and raining here too. I've got to go and get some shopping and a school bag for Michaela later (when the kids finally wake up).

We are also supposed to be going out to get the final part of Joshuas birthday present (his birthday was 2 weeks ago. He wants a hamster and we were told they wouldn't be ready until 12th Sept as that's when they are 6 weeks old but we got a phone call from a friend yesterday to say her friend says they are ready to go now and that he can come and choose one)

Michaela put her fish tank together yesterday (an early birthday present) so now we have to wait a few days to get the water right then she can go and get some goldfish

Afternoon ladies... everyone sounds as if they have a busy day ahead.
Keith has just gone off to hospital - we will find out today if they are going ahead with an operation. He fell in the garden yesterday, and although he winded himself he thought he was ok. But this morning he can feel his rib moving... dont know whether he has dislodged one or whether its just just mending... will know later on as he is having another ct scan.
I have the children today, but they are back to school tomorrow - so a bit of peace and quiet!! Ben who is starting school full time just goes till after lunch and I have to pick him up at 1.00 - but he is only doing that Thursday and Friday. Next week it will be full time.
Lovely and sunny here... we did have some rain yesterday though.. it was like a tropical storm!
well... whatever you are doing today - enjoy!!

Hello Ladies

Haven't managed to post on here for ages, as by the time i get to take a peep you have all gone off for the evening.

Hope Keith gets the answers he is looking for today and I am sure lots of you are just ready to send those children
back to school and most of them are ready to go, my goddaughter told me yesterday she was.

Andy is currently in theatre having his kidney+cyst removed. I am told he will be down there for at least 4 hrs
then up to 2 hrs in the recovery room so I may just get to wish him goodnight this evening. He was really scared bless
him especially when the anaesthetist starting talking about the epidural, you know the thing, "We will be putting a blunt
needle in your back" oh boy did that cheer him up. Then to top it he was told no food today he will be fed by tube for
24hrs. The other nurse had just been round with the menu and offered him Beef and stout casserole!!
