It must be a bit boring for the rest of you but I'm so detirmined. I've tried every diet under the sun over the last 30 years but never been able to keep tham up. I aim to maintain or lose every week if I can (and definately NOT put on) it's just enough motivation.

As I've been doing it for so long now that my eating habits have changed a bit - probably permanetly - so hopefully it won't pile back on when I reach tartget (in about a year)

I just wish I had half your staying power Jane. I'm trying to motivate myself to start losing again instead of letting what I've already lost slowly creep back on! Not being very succesful at the moment though!

lost half a pound this week - got to lose another 2 lbs to get back to where I was before my hospital trip.
Still can't swim as, since the stitches were removed 2 of the sites are weeping and bleeding again. I told the nurse to put some steri strips on but she said I didn't need them! Plasters back onand taking it easy again. Not a happy bunny

You are both doing well - I am gaining but dont seem to be eating as much. I think it's spending too long at my craft table and computer and not enough moving about. Must get back to doing my Pilates. Hope you soon recover Jane, it must be so exasperating when you are unable to do the things you usually do. Crying or Very sad

Well done Jane Smile You are doing really well. They'll have to give you a reduced rate flight to Australia as there will be so little of you next year he he.

I'm afraid I've been stuck again for the last few weeks as the last lot of injections didn't work so reducing the amount of exercise I can do daily, but at least I haven't put any on he he Smile

You've done really well to keep it off Jen -never easy when you are on certain meds or can't exercise regularly. don't give up.

I'm trying to stay on a healthy eating plan so hopefully Christmas won't cause too much damage. A few treats won't hurt but must keep away from things like lashings of double cream, rich truffle type chocolates and sherry trifle (or my favourite 'cheats trifle' made with mascarpone, dark chocolate, brandy and fresh custard).

With just the two of us in the house its too easy to over indulge especially when, in the past, I've had lots of extras in case we have unexpected visitors.
