Ahh Christmas is just round the corner and only 9 more work days left till I get two glorious 2 weeks off Not sure if I'm more excited by Christmas or the time off

All us Mum's seem so busy this week organsing things for Christmas hope your OH's are helping out. Mine never did maybe that why he's my ex

Lou well done on the scooter, you and Addy can now race each other Good old Dad to the rescue mines great like that as well, be lost without him, even though he does tell me the same thing 3 times these day

Lol morning Di, yeap curtains back up now , my hubby does help out but not going to be much use to me with wrapping the presents, not that he did alot of that anyway as i do like doing that, and oh my we went to mk (milton keynes) shopping yesterday after rac sorted out the car, the engine had flooded, thankfullly no cost so thats good news but just remembered i have no more wrapping paper and was meant to get some lol.

Good morning Di, Juli and all who follow; Food shopping for me this morning and then back to card making. Managed to do 16 yesterday in the end. Got my hairdresser coming tomorrow so have to make one for her today. Enjoy your day at work Di. Juli glad you have recovered. Must admit I dont like wrapping presents, I make a mess of it but I'm better than Martin Sally is great at wrapping, she makes it so neat so I used to get her to wrap a lot of mine but kept special ones so she had suprises too and didnt know about everything She is excellent at keeping secrets too Off to get brekkie now Hugs to any poorlies out there

Rather a sore day today (probably like Juli!) as I did some housework yesterday and tried to hoover the stairs... bad mistake!

Have had to phone Hydro and tell them I wont make it..... I just can't... so am sitting here playing on puter! Gonna do a card for Juli's daughter too later!

I have bought as an xmas pressie a multi photo leather frame for MIL so am printing out up to date piccies of the girls to put in it..... she doesn't own a camera so I try and keep her up to date with recent ones every now and then.

My friends hubby is picking up a copy of the new Harry Potter film for me from Morrisons this afternoon so will be watching that tonight! I never got to see it at the cinema coz of the fall during the summer! I am Potter mad, have read all the books but so wanna see the film!

Lou HOOVERING the stairs .....are you mad mans job !!!

Well Lexie, got fed up of asking directly, dropping hints and just basically huffing evertime I looked at them.... the thing is the dog sometimes decides to sleep on the big stair at the curve and it gets awfully hairy..... hubby had been asked for the past 5 days...... and still not done it..... guess who is feeling mightily guilty today? LOL!!!

Good afternoon ladies, that was a quick day at work The school rang to say Jakes is poorly, picked him up and given him some calpol. He's has a cold coming and feels a bit yucky so he's watching a bit of spongebob squarepants curled up on the sofa with a blanket.

Afternoon ladies. Went to Drs last night as didn't feel well again over weekend checked everything and ordered some blood tests. First appointment for a fasting blood test was ......... Christmas Eve!!!!!! I had the distinct impression he was expecting me to have it today and there was no way I was waiting that long and then having to wait all over Christmas before I got results! So had to go to the new health centre in Aldershot where they have a walk in blood testing clinic. Fortunately didn't have to wait too long so was home by 9.30 - boy was I ready for that cup of tea! Must start to wrap some pressies this afternoon and not leave it to last minute like I usually do. Ought to get hoover out too as there are lots of little white squares on craft room floor.

Sue hope you feel better soon , I sometimes think Drs and especially consultans are'nt in the real world about tests , scans and investigations ... oh well. Iam pretty much back to dare I say it ....normal ...well , ok back to me !!!! but it took its time , yep Di Sheila did come armed with goodies !!! Still have done wrapping......

Haha blonde moment.... or too much christmas spirit?? Hehe Hic!

Twisted my knee a few weeks ago and it was almost better - well enough to walk miles, swim and do gym - cycling, cross-trainer and treadmill anyway. Tried to avoid twisting movements but still managed to dance and do pilates too. I got out of the car this morning and it locked up. I've been sitting with an ice pack on all afternoon and I'm finding it difficult to walk and can't manage the stairs except on my bottom - ouch. Might have to go to the osteopath if it's no better tomorrow.

Oh Jane, hope you get it sorted quickly - it's strange how the body works and you cease up for no apparent reason Sue, hope you feel better soon too, can't believe you would have had to wait until Christmas Eve for a blood test Glad you managed to get one in Aldershot.

Ouch Jane ....this getting fit lark .....!!!!
