Tuesday
Morning..
Its lovely and sunny here this morning... but does seem a bit cool out.
Busy day today, going into town to get some last minute bits for Keiths birthday which is Thursday. Got to pick his cake up on Thursday as well... cant wait to see what Jackie has done - she did Mum's 80th Birthday cake... and it was beautiful.
Then this afternoon Amy and I are having our hair cut... I feel like a sheepdog at the moment!
Jane... hope things are moving for you today
Hugs for the poorlies and hope everyone has a good day xx

Re: Tuesday
Good morning Karen - lovely out there at the moment but it isn't going to last. I have the washing machine man coming some time between 8.00 and 1.00 today - hopefully. I have a load of washing to do which I was going to do some yesterday but didnt want to put the machine on if we were out and then I forgot. It has sprung a leak, not much but didnt want to risk it if we were out. It also makes a real loud noise when it is spinning now, so think the bearings are on the way out
Good luck with your shopping Karen, hope you get all you need Hope Lou and Jane are in less pain today and we haven't heard any more from Juli - lets hope everything is ok there too. Hugs to all you poorlies, including Jen and anyone else who needs one.

Re: Tuesday
Morning all,
Well the dratted scooter has been collected and thats an end to it !!! Hooray!!!!
Hip is a little better today so gonna try for a trip out as it's Ady's day off.... taking a hot water bottle with me tho.... I have burnt myself before with a hottie so I know what has to be done with the blister.... have dealt with it and its not so sore this morning. When I had my epidural done the doctor who did it called the nurse in and said 'now here we have a perfect example of a chronic hot water bottle user!' and he laffed at me! My back is often mottled where I use extreme heat and change bottles often, often the only way I can cope with it, and often the mottling doesn't sisappear for 4/5 days after a good session...or a bad session of pain...depends which way ya look at it!!
Hugs for our poorlies, Jane I hope today is a better day for you x Nice to see Jen back on yesterday, massive hugs for you too hun, you are not a nag I promise.
Lexie glad she got back ok x Hugs x
Have a good day all x
Just gonna go on Amazon and download some music for our drive out, we have all chosen our fave songs and are gonna put em on a car CD so we can have a singalong!

Glad you are feeling up to going out today Lou Take care, and watch you don't lose your voice with all that singing
Re: Tuesday
Morning ladies
Hope things are moving for you now Jane ...so to speak he he, it definitely isn't nice post operative as everything is so sore and swollen so no room for added bits.
Hope Keith's cake turned out as you want it to and enjoy the pampering while having your hair cut today
Oh my word Lou I couldn't do that to myself with a hot water bottle, have you tried these gel packs that you can heat up or chill in the freezer? they have a little sock to put them in and are kinder to your skin. I remember last Christmas trying out a similar thing which was being demonstrated in the centre of Cardiff last Christmas. They were fluffy bags with crystals inside that heated up when you manipulated them - it was amazingly hot and really did work to relieve pain. They had to prize it off me at the end of the demo he he
Hope you get your washing machine sorted today and that it isn't too costly a repair Jacky I don't blame you for being wary of leaving it on while you are out as a result of it having a small leak; you really don't want to come back to a sodden kitchen. Pete flooded my kitchen out just over a week ago, accidentally of course he he. He had the taps running to fill the basin for doing the dishes when I called him to look at something on the computer. Now instead of turning the taps off like most women do, being a man he left them running ... got engrossed in what was on the computer and voila one flooded out kitchen he he. It now smells as if some of the water has got in under the floor tiles so we may have to replace those ... oh dear!! How easily things happen, ah well I've had them for 3 years now, perhaps its time for a change he he.
I have a relatively free day today so am going to relax pottering around with some photos, cards and techniques me thinks. Oh before I forget its a craft TSV tonight / tomorrow on QVC, don't know what yet but Anna Griffin is on, so most prob scrapbooking.
EK Success have some nice punches on C&C today at 11am too, so might relax and watch that he he.
Anyone would think I was affiliated or getting commission from these things, wish I was he he but I just love watching them and letting you all know too he he Put your credit cards in a different room ladies and its safe to watch then he he

Re: Tuesday
Washing machine man came and fixed it - he tried it out with some towels before he left but I don't think he left it long enough spinning. After he had gone I put a small load in and it still makes a noise but not quite as bad. He said it was the concrete weight at the bottom was a bit loose. Didn't cost us anything as Martin had paid for an extended warranty so will keep an eye on it before that runs out The leak was a loose outlet pipe which he has tightened and no problem there. Thanks for the heads up on the QVC - TSV will check it out. Don't usually buy from them now as the sets are usually so big that I never use all the things.
Re: Tuesday
finally got some relief about 10 mins ago. it took a couple of gycerine bombs as well as 6 sachets of medicine.
