SLEEPY SUNDAY

Clive left for work an hour ago so I'm up a bit early. May take a cuppa back to bed for a while then contact the family in Adelaide (they should have had they're supper by then) Its a bit cloudy but the sun is peeping through now. Looks like we'll get some rain later in the week - still the Indian Summer was nice while it lasted!

Lazy day planned as I had a late night watching a film. No ill effects from yesterday's walk about either. Wound still a bit sore and occasional wind but, other than that, making steady progress.

It's dull here but at least it's dry this morning. We're not doing much today as Kayleighs foot is starting to hurt and I don't want to make it worse and have to have her put back into plaster again.
I have to make a few cards today so that will keep me busy.

I am blooming achy today but surprisingly not from the regions you would think....it's mainly muscle ache today!!! We went to Beachy Head yesterday and I walked up quite a hill!!! My dad was having a right go at me for trying it!!! Now I know why... my calf muscles are seized solid!!! Walking like a flippin duck LOL

Mind you the view was stunning, sad to think that peeps could choose a place of such natural beauty to do something so dreadful like commit suicide I couldn't believe it but there was a 4x4 landrover coloured red with big letteers in yellow spelling out CHAPLAIN in one of the car parks and there was a female chaplain sat inside with binoculars!! What a job!!

Just to let you know I had a text from Andrea today...... she has taken a break from the forum whilst the kids were on on their holiday but will be back amongst us soon!

She may well try and pop on later, she is just back from camping time in Skegness and has the washing to do!!!

Walked down to get the Sunday paper - boy, it's getting cold out there - should have worn my cardi!
Caught up on last night's Casualty and flicking through the channels to find something to watch before I make some lunch. Plan to make a card or 2 this afternoon.

Sorry you are feeling a bit stiff today Lou but I hope the walk was worth it. I had stiff calves most of last week but as I get more mobile they seem to be improving - wonder how Lexie's knee is today?

Its our Wedding Anniversary today... 23 years! Having a nice day - just finished lunch and relaxing now.
Its a bit blustery out today, but at least its warm.
