Morning,

Its a very cold and frosty morning. No more snow, but its so cold.
At the moment my 'Thermo Clock' is reading -7 outside!!
Roast chicken for lunch today, and then watch SCD later on.

Have a good day, take care and keep warm!!

Good morning Karen, Andrea and all who follow Very Happy Had a lovely evening last night, Ian came round with Callie as Ruth was away photographing a wedding so was staying overnight and he was bored with no-one talking back to him apart from Callie Laughing Laughing We had an Indian takeaway and watched x-factor. Got to go now and catch up on SCD before tonight. Did see Widdie last night - thought she was great Laughing saw as far as Pamela, just got to watch the rest now.

Very cold here too, hope it's not too icy for Ruth's journey home today. Enjoy your day, I am not planning going anywhere. Good luck to Hayley in her race Very Happy

Good morning Frances, more mad children Laughing

Martin shouted up the stairs to me this morning that there was a load of brightly coloured birds in the garden. I looked out the window and there was about 20 - 30 goldfinches around the pond getting water from the waterfall and in the trees. I rushed to get my proper camera with the telephoto lens and heard the back door go. Martin had only gone outside with my little camera and frightened them all off Evil or Very Mad He managed to get a couple through the window but that camera only has 3 x optical zoom on it. He stayed out there for ages hiding behind the greenhouse getting frozen but they didn't come back.

Afternoon ladies. Eldest son just gone home complete with freezer box of stuff from my freezer! and all the Christmas presents for middle son and family as he is going there for Christmas. Good job as postage would have been astronomical! Jacky you must have had all my goldfinches as I haven't had any for ages! He was late arriving Friday night as they had had snow in Bristol so had been late getting home from work. Glad it hasn't reached here yet.

Hi ladies, still white and snowy here - it's been so cold that the snow hasn't melted since Friday's fall. It was -8.5C here at 9.30am when Pete went out for the papers. I didn't need much convincing to stay indoors he he, much as I love it I didn't fancy slipping on the ice and causing damage to my knees Smile

Talking of falling, I hope your bruises have started to go now Lou and that you are in less pain, bless you.

I bet you were cussing Martin something chronic this morning Jacky, tell him to open a window quietly next time or better still wait until you have your camera too he he. As you can see from my photos on FB I have something of a fetish about taking photos of birds, of the feathered kind he he.

I'm getting around without my crutches now, well indoors anyhow, my knees do seem to be more painful when they get cold though. Not sure if that's the fibromyalgia flaring up or a reaction to the operation, either way I'm going to wrap them up warm to go out tomorrow. I have my boob squish appointment in the morning and my stitches are being taken out in the afternoon. What a hectic day he he Smile I lead such a busy life ..... just kidding he he Smile

I can't remember if I've thanked you guys for the brilliant get well cards that you sent me, so thought better to do it twice than not at all .... so here goes, thank you ladies very much Wink

Hugs for all, especially the poorlies
