Hectic week with something happening each day and out 4 nights! Son coming round for a meal tonight and some shopping to do - got to go into Sutton to collect something I ordered but waiting for the rain to stop.

Well sorry I wasn't about much over the weekend! Wow what a weekend it was!! My feet hardly touched the floor! I am so shattered but at least we got pretty much all the christmas shopping finished now.....

Was a relief to finally shove the kids off back to school this morning and get a bit of crafting done!

So far today I have done the insert for the A4 card and have also made a thank you card for the lady I borrowed the scooter off.... which I hasten to add we are now buying, so now I have two! I am going to keep the smaller yank-apart-able one till after the holiday as thats what it was needed for then I will sell it on.... my dad has lent me the £300 to buy the better one and I will pay him back at £50 a month out of my DLA.... what a gem xx So I have made a card for her which I will give her with the money and also a nice bunch of flowers to say a proper thanks, she will never know how much the use of that scooter for the last 6 months or so has helped me... I think I would have been an emotional wreck without it...thats for sure!

How is everyone then? Nice and well I hope...... busy crafting or christmas preparing no doubt! All you working girls I hope have plenty of time off over christmas.....!

Morning ladies, wet a wild here at the min and i dont mean me getting out of the bath lol, was just going off with hubby as he is off again today to go and do our xmas shop for each other and have been looking froward to it all weekend went out to the car and the bl**dy thing wont start, just NOT what we need if its not one thing its another. Feeling a little sore today as well as put up the decs and the tree on saturday, and was putting some of my fairy ornaments on top of the book case, (by standing on the arm of the sofa) and went flying off backwards and landed on my side grabing everything insite (so my son tells me it happened so fast cant remember) so i pulled curtains off and the rail!! hit window sil and radiator and for my finally landed in both dog bowels you have to laugh, i can now but it did hurt and still a bit stiff and the bruses is very long and fab colours lol. So why we wait for the rac to come oit going to make some cards, love and hugs to all hope any poorlies feel better soon.xxxxxxxxx

Had to work on saturday , had a cake day !!!! so best I 'll say nomore..... moved the furniture around ready to get the tree , started sorting through the decs only to find 2 sets of lights not working , how does that happan ? Got to dash as I need to pop into town .Enjoy the rest of your day....

What a bunch of fine mates we are all having a laugh at Juli's misfortune...... ha ha !!!!

Managed to get the birthday card done and have finally made up some cards so at least 7 people are getting hand made cards this year Glad you have a lovely dad to help you out with the scooter Lou We have helped out our 2 a few times as we would rather do that than have them paying interest on a big loan. They are really good at paying it back regularly having set up standing orders

Juli - what can I say, I was feeling so sorry for you and halfway down I said this poor woman and read it out to him - then I got to the dog bowls sorry for laughing but I could just imagine it Hope you soon recover from your bruises

Ouch - hope you are OK now (but I still couldn't help laughing-especially at the 'dog bowels')

LOl LOl i was laughing so much when i was telling you all to my son said its was so funny that i tried to grab everthing in sight to stop myself!! he then tries to show me while i'm still in the dog bowels he does love me really and alhough it dont sound like it he was concerned lol little bu**er lol.xxxxxxx
