Snow, and bird feeding - Page 2 Empty Re: Snow, and bird feeding

I bought a squirrel proof feeder just before Christmas as the two squirrels were costing me a fortune in food. They were emptying the feeder in a day! Not only that they ate all the perches off it and so the holes were bigger for the food to come out. It didn't take them long though to suss out the supposedly squirrel prrof one. They climb along the branch and knock it then sit on ground eating food that has fallen out! So my son bought me two different feeders and food for my birthday. haven't managed to put them up yet though with the weather as they need to be hung high up and I will need a stepladder.

Those squirrill proof ones are a laugh , although Ian has gott a really good one but it was about his 4th attempt , they had a terrible time with the pesky things one got in he loft and did hundreds of pounds worth of damage, some they got back on insurance but nat allof it ....sooo they hate them and have made Mick paranoid !! Laughing x
